*** 10 years have passed and Ishita and Mihika aren't the geeks of elementary any more, they are now the pretty swans ;). Ishita works as PR at a Big Marketing company and Mihika is working for a fashion designer. They now live together in Mumbai. Other characters and details will be added as needed. I'm no expert in writing so please ignore the typos and grammatical error.😳 Do let me know how the update was 😊***

Part 2

The sound of the blaring alarm woke Ishita, she grabbed her phone to stop it as she tumbled her way out of her bed and went to her closet.

"Mikuuu, I have nothing to wear, need a good outfit. Have a meeting today." Ishita called out.

Mihika walked in with a handful of clothes on hangers."I borrowed some stuff from work" She said with a mischievous pride

Ishita looked at the clothes "Miku this is amazing and expensive!" she said with happy grin. "How many days before we return this?"

"14 days"

"And how many outfit did you bring?"

"14" Mihika said winking and walked out to brew their morning coffee.

"Thank you!" Ishita called out and hurried to bathroom.

Ishita was brushing her teeth when her mom called the land line, "I can't talk seven in the morning mom" she mumbled and she let it got to voicemail.

"I was to talking Nila aunty yesterday and her daughter is getting married. I think she is your age. Can you believe it? Well I can, call me back Ishu, I have a lot to talk to you." her mom finished off the message before hanging

"Oh god and she wonders why you don't pick up" Mihika said standing at the door way shaking her head."By the way I think these will seal the deal" she said holding out a new pair of heels.

"I can't wear that" Ishita said widening her eyes at length of the heels.

"Oh yes you can" Mihika stated as she closed the bathroom door so her friend can finish her business.

Ishita walked into her office building. "Ishu!" Subbu ran catching up to her.

"Oh hey...hey Subbu" Ishita faked an awkward smile as they got into the crowded elevator.

"I left you few messages" he said with a hint of hope.

"Ah yeah I know you have" Ishita said sipping in her coffee avoiding his eyes.

"We went out three times"

"yes..yes we did"

"I thought we were having fun"

"we were ..." she said trailing off.

"But?"

" I'm just so ..I'm just so busy with work right now. Honestly I wish I had the time" she said swallowing the lump in her throat. She knew she was being unfair, but she didn't want to lead him on to a dead end.

"Ok if you get freed up, let me know" he said as he got out the elevator once his stop came.Ishita watched as Subbu made his way out.

"Nightmare guy?" a lady from behind asked taking Ishita into a surprise.

" Oh him...a not at all I'm just.." Ishita trailed off

"Trust issues?" she asked again.

Ishita let out a nervous smile as she thought "well it's just that I've never been on fourth date since...forever" The lady let a small laugh understanding Ishita's lack of interest. Ishita fidgeted her feet as her new heels started to hurt her.

"Oh day one and backless heel, you just have to slightly lean forward" the lady once again told her. As the elevator door open and both got out.

"Ah Thank you..why hasn't anyone ever given me that tip" Ishita said in delighted tone as she got relieved by the useful tip.

"Well woman usually like to keeps fashion secrets to themselves. I'm Vandita Bala, I'm not one of them" the lady said extending her hand for a shake.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ishu,..Ishita Iyer".After the quick interaction Ishita turned to head to her desk.

"Ishu!" Vandita called out "I don't mean to keep you but I'm actually starting to work here, today ...and I'm 20 minutes late. I had to drop the kids at school and then one forgot their lunch so had to go back for that...and-"

"Wait wait Your Vandita? You're starting off as trainee in the new clients department?"

"Yeah"

"That's my department" Ishita said with a smile

"Well great!" A quick realization hit Vandita at that moment " I'm...I'm sorry, I was noisy in the elevator and you're probably my boss , I shouldn't of-"

"No worries" Ishita said placing her hand on Vandita's shoulder calming her down.

"Well I'm supposed to meet someone by the name Abimaniyu Vishwa at 8'o clock and right now it's 8:21" she said in panic.

"its fine" Ishita comforted . "Abi is the owner's son, he spends his day playing video games in the office and he probably was never even out here"

"Vandita Bala?" a man came calling.

"Yes, that's me" Vandita replied.

"Yeah I thought we were supposed to meet about 20 minutes ago" he said arching his one eyebrow.

"She was here Abi." Ishita said clearing her voice "I came in and I saw her standing alone so I gave her a quick tour of the office"

"Ohhh..While you were doing that I-"

"Come to think of it, I think I saw the coffee guy playing with that new game of yours" Ishita said to distract.

"Are you kidding me?" asked Abi.

"Nope"

"I'll be right back" he said storming off

Vandita mouth a thank you toward Ishita and followed her.

***Office meeting**

Abi was standing up giving the presentation playing the PowerPoint slides.

"Mumbai Enterprise is a company that is transforming 10 of their warehouse in the west side into flats...yeah let's get another angle on that" He as he clicked his laptop for the next slide. "This basically mean..."he trailed off not knowing what to say, as always this was another meeting Abi didn't prepare for.

"Umm Abi...I think what you means is that this is for the young and upcoming crowd...this means first time buyers, this means convincing people it's cool to live away from the city" Ishita said.

"Absolutely!" Abi said in relief as he continued "Next we have Veet..Veet is wow..Veet is my lord" Abhimanyu said drooling at the model's picture, who was exposing her cleaning shaved long legs.

"Veet is a European company's hair removal product making in its India debut... umm we could probably do product sampling" said Ishita again in the rescue of her boss.

"We could do demonstrations even" Abi chipped in. Everyone rolled their eyes and Ishita shook her head indicating a no.

"Ok ...Never mind...next we have a new restaurant, opening under 4 weeks. And It will be owned and operated by Raman Bhalla" Abi continued

Ishita was looking down on her pointer sheet and as soon as she heard the name, her head popped up in shock. It can't be she thought, It must be another Raman Bhalla. But there was his picture, saying it was indeed him. Those eyes and that smile only belonged to him. He was still the handsome boy, correction he was now a handsome man. The years have done him only good. He looked trim and sharp in the suit and light stubble and his short trimmed hair,He was godly and Ishita was again falling under his charm.

"He's gorgeous" Vandita leaned in and whispered in Ishita's ear bringing her back to reality.

"Ah no, I went to elementary with him, he ruined my life, he's the meanest jerk ever!" she whispered back in haste.

"Well he basically sound like rich boy with a trust fund, this will probably fail within a week. But that's what we are here for right, to make it a success," Abi said finishing off and asked them to choose project they want to work on.

Meeting was over and Vandu and Ishita walked out together. Ishita was still in shock. She never thought she would hear of him again in her life though she never forgot about him.

"Aren't the popular kids supposed to end up losers and I am supposed to be Rich and famous?" Ishita complained.

"No that's just what the parents of the nerds, tells them to make them feel better" Vandita replied as they approached their seats.

Ishita let a sigh, "Well I'm going to head out, be back in an hour" Ishita told Vandu as she walked taking out her cellphone dialing her best friend. "Mihika, meet up now at our usual place, I have major headline news" she announced.

This 14 days,14 different types of outfits may change ishra life..dont laugh viju..im just predicting..this 14 days brings ishra close..
