It's been a while since I wrote one of these, at least a year so I am kinda surprised that this one came to me today, basically I just wrote it and the inspiration came out of nowhere or from somewhere 😳😆😆...you can guess by the title what it is actually 😳

Afterglow

I feel surrounded by you,

Lost in your embrace even as life keeps happening,

Your fingertips lingering on my skin,

Teasing, tempting, touching me,

The curve of your lips tracing my heart,

The warmth of your arms holding me,

Your whispers resonate in my ears even now,

The memory of the moistness of your tongue,

Sets me afire,

In my mind' eye, I see,

Your eyes set on me,

In them, the echo of my desire.

Either time has never moved slower,

Or there has never been a more restless me,

I don't know really,

I can only hope,

You are as lost as I am ,

Burning as I am,

In this fire.
