"Raman Adi Ruhi.. Just two more minutes and if you all aren't coming out for lunch you'll have to prepare the dinner tonight"
Shouted and irritated Ishita who has for umpteenth number of times called her husband and children for the lunch but the three seemed to be very busy with the new venture they have got in the form of a video game her husband has brought for their kids..
"Such a kid he is.. Got the gadget for kids and got involved himself"She thought annoyingly...
Adi was the first one to jump out and land directly on the table followed by timid steps of his sister and then comes their father looking everywhere but at her...
"Ishima Papa has asked us to wait.. He wanted to annoy you as always"
Adi, who got scared with the glare his mother was giving to three of them spoke to defend himself..
Raman looked at him in disbelief..
Raman muttered :- Tu ruk beta.. Video game ke badle game.. teri game to mai knock out karta hoon.. Ma ka chamcha...
(you just wait and watch son.. What I do to you.. I'll knock you out in your game only.. Mother's tail.. )
Adi looked at his plate ignoring his father's glare...
Ruhi:- Haawww Adi bhaiya.. Don't blame my papa.. He told you Ishima would kill three of us.. You were only the one who was asking for playing more..
Ishita's eyes widened more.. Raman looked at Ruhi stunned and then Ishita who was glaring back at him as if would kill him right there...
Raman:- ye ruhi mujhe khaayi se upar kheench rahi hai ya dhakka de rahi hai... beta tu chup hi zyada better thi...
(Is my daughter saving me or pushing me down the valley. Beta you were better silent)
Adi:- No ishima.. Its not true...
Ruhi:- No ishima Its not true..
Ishita:- Enough of your ramblings.. Concentrate on your food otherwise.. You know what I mean..
This side of Ishita was rarely visible.. She was all the time so sweet and calm with the kids but this time she was hell irritated and the reason of her exasperation was none other than her Raavan Kumar.. His words in the morning were still echoing in her ears...
*Flashback*
Ishita:- Raman Phir se towel bed pe.. bacche kya seekhenge apne disorganized papa se..
(Raman again the towel is on bed.. What will our kids learn from their disorganized father?)
Raman:- To apni organized Ishima se seekh lenge.. Waise kyat um subah subah itne romantic weather me towel ko leke baith gayi ho.. Aaj chhutti hai chalo kahi date pe chalet hain..
(So they'll learn from their organized mother.. Anyways what have you held up in such a romantic weather? Lets go out on a date..)
Ishita chuckled..
Ishita:- Date pe?? Do do baccho ke papa ko date pe jana hai... Budhaape me romance soojh raha hai mere buddhe ko..
(On a date?? Like seriously?? Father of two kids want to go on a date.. trying to romance in old age.. )
Raman:- O hello.. Buddha hoga tera...
(O hello.. old would be your...)
(Those readers who did not understand. there is a saying in hindi that says Buddha hoga tera baap.. that means old would be your father..)
He suddenly stopped as she pointed a finger back at him as if saying "dare you complete the phrase"
Raman:- dostt... Buddha hoga tera dossttt.. Mai ab bhi itna handsome aur stunning dikhta hoon ki chalte chalte chaar seetiyaan baj jaati hai.. Aur ladkiyaan to puccho mat.. jin nazro se wo mujhe dekhti hain na tum agar dekh logi to jalan se kaali pad jaaogi... Khud ko dekha hai.. 18 saal ke ladke bhi tumhe ab aunty bulaane lage hain.. badi aayi mujhe Buddha kehne waali.. nahi chalna to mat chalo .. padi raho ghar me aur achaar paapad banao..
(Friend.. old would be your friend.. I am still most handsome and stunning . People go gaga over me and girls I tell you.. The look that girls give me shall turn you black out of jelousy.. Have you looked at yourself? Even 18 year old boys call you aunt.. Dare you call me old.. If you don't wanna come stay here and keep on making pickels at home.. )
He left from there leaving her annoyed expression and open mouth silently laughing at her condition...
*Flashback Ends*
Kids had their lunch and as per instruction were back to their room for completing their homework so that they could play with free mind in the evening. This was her policy to let kids have their work and enjoy their time both equally..
Raman was looking at her from far corner unnoticed by her.. Looking at her he went into deep thoughts.
How good was she in managing the kids and in managing the entire family and most importantly in managing him.
She had an unusual power to make him go gaga over her in every means. She could manage to look sexy in that kapdo ki than of hers at the same time could look decent in all the western attires she had worn till date.
She could act so kidishly, sometimes getting angry on some childish things and sometimes could behave most maturely whenever they hit any of the problematic situations.
She could fight with him the most and could irritate him to the sky and back but she could make him feel loved to the eternity..
She could scold their kids for their mistakes as if is a sister of Adolf Hitler but could shower her love on them like a never ending rain.
How contrary is she on herself? But what would happen to his life if she would not have been there to handle everything and turn him into a happy and settled man.. How ruthless he has been and how calm and understanding she had been.. If anyone else would have been there, would have left him long back because of his rough and inhuman behavior.. He was indeed lucky to have her hand entwined with his..
He couldn't believe his luck..
Kaise mujhe tum mil gayi, kismat pe aaye naa yakeen
( How did you become mine, I can't believe my good fortune )
Utar aayi jheel mein, jaise chaand utarta hai
(You came to my life.. like the moon descends into the lake sometimes)
Kabhi haule haule dheere se
(Slowly and graciously)
His thoughts were broken by the pat on his shoulder..
Bala- Hey you kya tum meri saali ko aise ghoor ghoor ke dekh rahe ho?? Bhaga ke le jaane ka iraada hai?
(Hey you what are you staring at my sister-in-law? Are you going to run away with her??)
Raman:- Yaar pucch mat bala.. Dimaag ki dahi jama ke rakh di hai is madrasan ne.. Pta ni kyun mujhe aise ghoor rahi hai jaise police ke hawaale kar degi agar aas paas bhi fatka to..
(Don't ask Bala... She has turned my brain upside down.. I don't know why she is glaring at me as if she would anytime hand me over to police if I dare to go near her..)
Bala- as per my experience.. Whether you haven't taken her out for long or you have told her something she never wanted to hear..
Raman:- Kaam to dono maine kiye hain par its not my fault.. I asked her out today and she refused saying I am being all romantic in such age.. Now anybody would like to explain this Jhansi Ki Rani that we have got married an year and a half ago..
(Both the things are right but that's not my fault.. I asked her out today and she refused saying I am being all romantic in such age.. Now anybody would like to explain this Jhansi Ki Rani that we have got married an year and a half ago..)
Bala teased him for being a despo..
Bala- *cough cough*
Raman:- Cough syrup doon ya kucch aur asardaar...
(Want a cough syrup or something more powerful..)
Showing his knuckle..
Bala:- So what would you do now??
Raman:- I just want to spend time with her.. But she isn't ready first and upset on top of it.
Bala- I have an idea.. I shall include Vandu in the plan and we would fake a fight and would eventually call you guys to sort our fight out and this way you could escape with her..
Raman:- Superb Bala 24... Tune saabit kar diya.. Saare madrasi bewakoof ni hote..
(Superb Bala 24.. you proved all Madrasis aren't stupid... )
As per the plan when Ishita was ready to go out with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law for shopping she got a call from Vandu and She and Raman left the house..
Only five minutes had past when they left the home when she got the call from Vandu
Ishita:- Hello akka hum bas aa rahe hain.. On the way ...
Vandita:- Put on speaker Ishu.. Raman might be driving.. I have to speak to him..
Ishita:- But akka is everything okay??
Vandita:- Put it na..
She put the phone on speaker..
Vandita:- Raman...
Raman;- Yeah Principal Ma'am listening.. You rock big time.. A big thanks..
Vandita:- You better make my sister happy now..
Raman:- Promise.. But you know what.. You are more intelligent and sensible then your sister..
And they shared a hearty laugh...
Vandu:- Ishu... Enjoy your time with this Punjabi romantic husband of yours and i'll take care of my tamil one.. Have a great time..
She hung up..
Ishita now understood she was fooled and glanced at the smirking face of her husband.. She was smiling inside but frowning outside.. He was unpredictable..
Raman:- Chalo ab aise hi muh banake rakhogi kya? Bahar aaye hain let us enjoy sometime..
(Smile now.. stop frowning.. we have come out after long.. enjoy the time)
She was quiet.. She wanted him to apologize but she knew hearing a Sorry from his mouth is as impossible as her amma touching non veg..
He looked at her quiet figure and understood she is still upset.. He smiled coz he had made his mind to make it up to her..
He parked the car near a park that seemed to be isolated. He got off the car but she did not move.. He waited for two minutes opening her door but when she was still stagnant he bent and picked her up in his arms..
She was shocked first and embarrassed later..
Raman:- Pehle bolti na kamar tod ke badla lena hai..
Ishita:- Raman put me down.. Its embarrassing..
He was just smiling and walking.. She was trying hard to move out of his arms. He took her to a place near a pond and left her suddenly.. She had fallen on the floor and he sat beside her..
She looked at him in disbelief and he looked at the nature trying to ignore her gaze..
She started hitting him..
Ishita:- Raavan Kumar... Raavan Kumar kahinke.. No manners.. is this the way to handle a girl?
He was enjoying her beatings and she was continuously throwing her palms on his chest..
Raman:- Girl?? Who where ??
She stopped and after a while stood up.. He held her hand and pulled her down straight into his embrace and held her tight..
She first tried to move but her ineffective tries made her stop after a while.. She was still.
He moved her a little and she looked into his eyes.. Eyes that reflected the pure serene and unending love... Eyes that reflected truth of his pure heart. Eyes that reflected his spotless soul.. She was drowning into the eyes forgetting the world and he was just watching her expressions..
