Absolutely HATING the track, the sweetness and freshness of YHM is gone !! Ishita, I always liked her because unlike Ekta-heroines she would apologize to Raman where she is wrong.. Raman, loved him because he was the one who would help his wife and in-laws secretly under cover.. And now look at them, Ishita - turned into the BIGGEST jerk of the world who in the process of attaining the No.1 Mahaan Trophy, let her own daughter go, hurt her, made her cry and didn't even CARE to explain things to her !! The court-room drama by Ishita was loathsome and at least I can never ever forgive Ishita for that... Raman - Oh better I shouldn't open my mouth.. If I am not wrong, he once made a promise that he would never let Ishita cry, never ever.. Oh look at him now, behind every pain of Ishita the reason is Raman Bhalla 😡

And last but not the least, Ishita-Ruhi - the foundation of the show is ruined.. Hence audience like me is really not interested to see the krap.. I am very glad I could join in the gang who would help in letting the trp fall, because it's been 1 week I am not watching 🥳 Hope CVs get the point !!🤬

Things have changed over the years, maybe 4-5 years ago off-screen matters didn't have any impact. But now it certainly has coz everything is interconnected nowadays. A large chunk of TRP audience are also participants of social sites now. TV actors now get enough coverage of their real lives thanks to print n electronic media which was not the case 4-5 years ago. TRP audience do read/watch those stuffs.

Moreover, SBS, SBB, UMETV, TV9 etc segments are full of YHM offscreen drama and the concerned parties are even publicizing it in every way. Most of the viewers of these segments belong to TRP audience. So, it's bound to get reaction when the show is all about lead chemistry and on top of that, the current script is full of crap. So, it's not helping the show either way.

When we watch a movie, it's just about 3 hours and we don't bother about actors' off-screen equations. But a daily soap becomes a part of a viewer's daily life, we often put down a daily soap when we compare it with a movie but the reality is that a viewer always gets emotionally more attached to a daily soap. So for a viewer, a character's off-screen life matters too. I'm NOT saying that's the way it should be but this is how the system works.

1. Adding 7:30 pm slot was a decision of both the Channel and the PH to garner more TRPs as it was generating unexpected TRPs for a 11 pm slot. As declared openly in the press conf during launch of the show, both EK and the SP programming Exec said YHM was targeting the educated metro crowd..and they didnt want to get into the TRP rat race if the show was launched in prime time. But that was before YHM became a major hit. Then all the original logic went out of the window as they saw the potential of lots of "chachhhing" by 7:30 pm slot's (which was a popular slot of another hit "saraswatichandra") TRPs.
   
   
2. The same CVs who were writing for a more mature audience turned the show mass friendly by turning Shagun from grey to dark quintessential melodramatic animated vamp , turning the original villain to a comic relief and the show from Raman Ishita's journey became a journey of Raman's mistakes and Ishita's mahanta. The CVs unfortunately were also serving the boss to keep their jobs.
   
   
3. For all this time though Raman was muted, Mihika butchered and Ishita made a prime time bahu ...but it was their characters that got affected...the acting never got compromised. So why blame the actors. Both DT and KP have been bang on as Ishra. So please don't blame KP's personal life or DT's personal life for the TRP decline. There is nothing in the story to attract audience, negative melodrama gets tiring for anyone.
   

TRP is dropping for extremely valid reasons none of them relate to KP or DT. So please spare the actors.
