TRP drops to 3.8 from last week 4.3-DT NT Pg6 - Page 5

I m soo glad that there is drop in trp's I really hope I drops even further next week...then they might understand wut viewers are looking for...I was hopping for Ruhr track to finish this week but no nothing absolute no progress...I really don't know y they are clinging on this track n hoping it to work...xxx

raima... a show trps depends on ONSCREEN things.. trp audience r NOT lik IF/Twitter/FB audience who r MORE bothered abt offscreen stuffs rather than onscreen stuffs...

TRPs solely come from onscreen things n current track is goin more n more crap...so TRP drop is not a shockin thing..!!

re: wheelchair, come on! TSA n YHM r professionalism i understand, but the lady is going Indore to Delhi to attend someone's shadi (who's not even her relative) is not professionalism or anything ...its just she doesn't want her business to get affected...

if u think what dt is doing is business then kp is not doing any social service or charity either. not only that if u think everything is business he doesn't even have any decency to work properly. he has no 'business' sense or ethics. yes the whole yhm team is let down by only 1 person that is mr kp and he is responsible for the end of yhm and not the creatives.

I have mentioned " the never ending off-screen drama" and it includes everything that is not part of on-screen (I didn't mean lead actor's marriage ONLY).

Things have changed over the years, maybe 4-5 years ago off-screen matters didn't have any impact. But now it certainly has coz everything is interconnected nowadays. A large chunk of TRP audience are also participants of social sites now. TV actors now get enough coverage of their real lives thanks to print n electronic media which was not the case 4-5 years ago. TRP audience do read/watch those stuffs.

Moreover, SBS, SBB, UMETV, TV9 etc segments are full of YHM offscreen drama and the concerned parties are even publicizing it in every way. Most of the viewers of these segments belong to TRP audience. So, it's bound to get reaction when the show is all about lead chemistry and on top of that, the current script is full of crap. So, it's not helping the show either way.

When we watch a movie, it's just about 3 hours and we don't bother about actors' off-screen equations. But a daily soap becomes a part of a viewer's daily life, we often put down a daily soap when we compare it with a movie but the reality is that a viewer always gets emotionally more attached to a daily soap. So for a viewer, a character's off-screen life matters too. I'm NOT saying that's the way it should be but this is how the system works.

If everything has to turn into KP vs DT affair then lets just stop having any discussion on this forum and lets all sit in either of the actors AT and worship them 24/7 .Please note these actors are selcted by the PH and the characters they play are etched by the CV's so it the story line and these actors merely do as told and that they sacrifice a lot for their profession and that they like any of us need to have their personal space and time and to blame actors for everything just because u dont like them for various reasons is not fair .Stop making soft targets out of them .

Certain members with their constant despise for either DT and KP just ruin every discussion please be sensible to debate sensibily , one place the sme members hate Kp and the next they dream of DiVan like really and the same for the ones who dislike DT but ship DiVan like r u serious what are u actually wanting ?

This topic being left open because its abt trps and any further of member targeting over differing opinions or targeting KP or DT unnecessarily and straight WL will be issued .

YHM DT

TRP's fell because of the shitty track but if they are affected by karan's sudden marriage news then it's their issue, he cannot put his life on hold for his show and the viewers. however, I don't think trp audiences are as blind as some fans on twitter and india forums who cannot differentiate between reel life and real life. some are just bitter that divan did not happen and that's why they are taking it out karan. lol

For the people who keep saying Oh My God KP is not writing the show blah blah, well neither is DT! I don't get why people blame the actors for the low trp, its the CVs fault. And what she does with her personal life is her business. She likes to work so she will. She will get better on her own, I am pretty sure she knows how to take care of herself, and how much she can or can't take on. She is old enough and has plenty of help around her to help her decide what she should and should not do. If she wants to "make money" as people say then let her just like KP does what he wants, DT can do what she wants to as well. It's not like she is begging the CV's to focus on Ishita and only Ishita. I think people saying oh no one is saying anything about her, and yet are very condescending towards her. Its pretty disgusting. At the end of the day the CV's are running the track of the show not the actors. The best line I read oh I love Divan so awesome, but I dislike DT because she is on a wheelchair, and keeps traveling, all she wants to do is make money, she doesn't care about YHM blah blah some more jazz, well um looks like everyone here has a personal relationship with her to know what kind of person she is. LOL Erm and the same people like Divan, erm there is no Divan without DT! Every discussion turns into a war-zone! BLAH! THE CVS SUCK, the actors are doing great the way they are!
