Ayyoyyo! I smacked myself mentally.
I was supposed to be taking him on a date and here I am parked in the middle of nowhere doing nothing.
I looked at him apologetically.
He blinked his eyes and said "Its alright! Ab chalo. I can't wait to get there"
"Where?" I asked
"Wahin jahan tum mujhe le janewali ho" he said with a smile
"Kya aap jante ho mai apko kahan le janewali hun?" I asked earnestly
"Ermmm...If I am not wrong tum mujhe apne clinic le janewali ho"
"Aaan...Aapko kaise patha?" I asked baffled.
Simmi tune bataya Raman ko mere plan ke bare me? I accused Simmi in my mind
"Kyunki we are having an action replay of our first date" He winked
Genius! You thought he will not realise what you are up to?

I looked sheepishly at him
He chuckled
"I am glad ke apko dentistry ka shouk hai" I gushed
"Sorry to disappoint you, mujhe daant ukhaadne ke business me koi shouk nahi" he suppressed my excitement in a second
"To phir itne uthawle kyun ho rahe ho mere clinic jane keliye" I grunted
"Kyunki mera shouk daant ukhaadnewali me hai" he winked again
"I think we should leave now" I said gently steering away from the topic not letting him know the elephant-size butterflies that emerged in my stomach on hearing him
When I started the engine, I heard 2 sounds
1#The sound of the engine
2#The growling of my stomach
The butterflies in my stomach transformed into king-size rats reminding me that I hadn't had my breakfast
I glanced at the clock and recalled the plans I had for the date
The digital clock said 11:30
As per my plan at this time we would be winding up from the clinic and setting off to lunch as the place I chose for the lunch was at the distance of an hour from my clinic.
I had the table booked from 12:30 to 2:00
I mentally calculated how long it would take for us to reach there now
The clinic was a 20-25 mins drive from where we were now
So by the time we reach my clinic it would be 12:30
It would take at least 1 hour to take him around...So it will be 1:30
1 hour drive to the restaurant...2:30
Ayyo! Another mental smack to myself
Was it necessary fro you to show your tantrums in the middle of the road Ishu?
Couldn't you have waited till you reached the clinic?
See now you have wasted an hour and you are running behind the schedule😭
My stomach growled again...
Hopefully he didn't hear it!
"Kya hua?" he asked
Ayyo! Did he hear it?
It's so embarassing!
"Kya hua Ishita? Chalna nahi hai?"
Thank God! He didn't hear it!
"Raman"
"Haan? Kya hua bolo" he asked out of concern
"Can we take a detour?" I asked apologetically
"Detour? Kahan? Kisliye?"
"Wo actually..." I was hesitating to say and the rats in my stomach did the saying
Growlll was heard
"Ye kya tha?" he asked looking around for the source of the sound

"Tumne wo awaz suni?" he asked
I slowly nodded my head up and down
"Kahan se arahi hai ye awaz?"
I bit my lip in embarassment and pointed towards my stomach
His forehead creased and he asked panicking "Tum theek ho Ishita? Doctor ke paas chalein?"
"Iska ilaaj Doctor ke paas nahi hai. Humein kahin aur jaana padega"
"Kahan?"
"Restaurant"
"Restaurant? Kyun?"
"Kyunki maine breakfast nahi ki hai"
"Kya?"
"Haan"
"Aur ye tum mujhe ab bata rahi ho? 12 bajne ko aye hain. Ghar se kuch khaakar kyun nahi ayi?"
"Kyunki mai shadi ke baad apna pehla breakfast aapke sath karna chahti thi"
Did I just say that!?
