Did she just say that!?
The concern in me for her changed into contentment on knowing that such things had a special importance in her life too.
It felt great to know that I was not the only one who was looking forward to spending those first little moments of our married life together.
Can this day get any better?
With every surprise she gave me, every disappointment on my list today got scratched away.
Growlll
Oops! In rejoicing this moment I forgot that she was still hungry!
"Ishita let's grab a bite from the nearest cafe"
"No no...I am fine"
"Mai tumhe aise bhooka rehne nahi de sakta. Chalo hum aas paas kahin se kha lenge"
"Raman time dekhiye. Its past 11:30. Ab to kahin pe bi breakfast available nahi hoga. Ab to meals serve karne ki tayyari ho rahi hogi"
"To theek hai hum meal hi kar lethe hain kisi nazdeek ki restaurant me"
"Nahi nahi. Aise kaise ho sakta hai? Maine already tables reserve kar diye hain aapke f..." she did not complete her sentence which meant she was hiding something from me. May be another surprise. But I didn't press on her coz I was loving getting surprises from her "Maine ek jagah tables book kar diye hain. Aur already wo mujhe uske liye charge bhi kar chuke hain"
"Ok theek hai...Ye restaurant paas me hai?"
"Ermmm...Kam se kam adha ghanta to lagega wahan pahunchne me"
"Aur tum adhe ghante tak bhooki rahogi"
"Yeah! I can manage"
"Are you sure Ishita? Mujhe nahi lagta tumhe aur der tak bhooka rehna chahiye"
"I am sur..." Growlll
I rolled my eyes at the growl
"Tumhara pet kuch aur hi keh raha hai Ishita. And I can't let you stay hungry for another minute. Agar tumhe kuch hogaya to?"
"Aap over-react kar rahe ho Raman. Bhooke rehne se kuch hotha hai kya?"
"You never know. Aur mai koi risk nahi lena chahta. So we are leaving right now to the nearest cafe and getting whatever is available"
"No Raman please! Mere plans ruin mat karo. Please...please...please"
Oh! How cute she looked with that puppy face!
How could I deny her?
"Ok"
"Thank you Raman" she squealed in joy while her stomach growled in hunger
"You wait here! I am coming back" I said and left without waiting for an answer
I came back after 5 minutes
"Raman aap kahan chale gaye the bina bataye?"
"Tumhari...I mean hamare breakfast ka intezam karne"
"But..."
"No buts...Maine tumhari baat maani na. Ab tum meri baat manogi. Hum yahin is gadi me breakfast karenge"
She nodded obediently and hung her head down as she did not dare going against my strict verdict
I softened up a little "Sorry Ishita"
She did not utter a word but nodded her head meaning its alright
I extended the packet I got from the only street-side shop I found and said apologetically
"Sirf yahi laa paaya. Aur kuch mila nahi. Aur koi dukan bhi nahi hai aas paas. To filhal isi se adjust karlo"
"Ok" she mumbled taking the packet still sulking
She disinterestedly opened the packet but the moment her eyes fell on what the packet contained her excitement knew no bounds
"OMG! OMG! This is going to be the best breakfast of my life" She squealed like a kid
I chuckled
She is such a child!
Who would say that she is a 25 year old adult and a dentist by profession?
In no time she ripped open the packet not before turning towards me with the new found excitement "Thank you Raman. You are such a sweetheart" I felt butterflies in my stomach at the term of endearment she just used
I do not know if it was the hunger or her love for chocolates that made her act crazy
She relished every bite of the chocolate like there was no tomorrow
Everything was fine and I enjoyed her childlike antis until...
"Ummm"
Until she moaned!!!
Seriously??? Did she moan or was it just y imagination?
"Ummm"
She is actually moaning!!!
I HAD to shift uncomfortably in my seat.
"Ummm"
She was moaning like someone...scratch that...I was making love to her
Is this why chocolates are considered as alternative for sex for women?
"Ummm"
Pagal Madrasan! Do you even realise what you are doing to me?
If not in this micro-car of hers I would have definitely pounced on her and shown her what she was doing to me.
Fortunately! My sane brain instructed me to calm down and reminded that I could not lose control in a car in the middle of a street in broad daylight.
Unfortunately! The brain was the only part of my body which was acting sane for rest of them had started losing their sanity.
When she had the last bite I thanked God for ending the torture and having me under control.
But I was so wrong!
The torture of hearing her moan was not enough to bring me to the edge of passion that I had to watch her licking the wrapper closing her eyes in ultimate pleasure.
The moans added with the licking compelled my sane brain to transform into a guttery one as it started imagining her tongue in places which would give me ultimate pleasure and thought of different ways to make her moan.
Urpp... I gulped hard while she was busy licking the wrapper with increased moans
God! Please! I don't want to end this date by disappointing her!
I would love this surprise any other time but not now, not at this place!
I prayed silently.
I closed my eyes unable to take the torture.
"Ummm...This is SHEER BLISS" her words brought me back
I opened my eyes. She looked happy and satisfied.
"OMG! I don't believe this!" She said aloud and added animatedly moving her hands like a director explaining a shot "Just imagine the faces of Akka and Miku when I tell them that I had chocolate, that too my favourite ones, for my first breakfast after wedding with my hus..."
"Ayyyooo!" and she looked at me as if she had seen a ghost
"Kya hua?" I asked concerned at the sudden change in her emotions
"What's wrong with me? Mera itni der bhooke rehna sab waste hogaya. Ye breakfast mujhe apke sath share karna tha"
Oh that!
I had long forgotten about it first because of her excitement and second because of the torture I just went through
"Ayyyo! I am such an idiot...Mai sab kuch akeli kha gayi...Sab barbad hogaya...My first breakfast after wedding but not with my husband...I am such a jerk" she went on and on with the self-deprecating speech and tears started to run down her cheeks
"Ishitaaa...It's alright" I said trying to calm her down
"It's not alright Raman. Mujhe ye breakfast apke sath share karna tha aur maine apke liye kuch nahi choda. Yahan tak ke wrapper aur ungliyan bhi chaat gayi. Kam se kam kuch to bachati to apko khilake dil me satisfaction hota. SHEER BLISS ke chakkar me sab bhhol gayi" she sobbed harder
"Ek minute" I said holding her shoulders
"No Raman..."
"Chup...bilkul chup" I said shaking her shoulders
She calmed down a bit but put her head down in shame
"Look at me Ishita" I said softly
She nodded in negative
I lifted her chin with my left index finger and made her look into my eyes
She looked at me questioningly
I did not say a word but leaned in licked the remains of chocolate that was smudged around and on her lips taking my own sweet time
"There...You shared your first breakfast after wedding with me and THIS is called SHEER BLISS"
