Yesterdays' episode though not the one to go gaga over, I was OK with it. The few things that I loved :
Ishita putting forth the marriage proposal to Mihir, as just a suggestion not a compulsion. Friendship as the basis of marriage and how Raman and she were good friends now.
Mihir, I think in part agreed because of the guilt he felt because of Shagun and her antics. Though the way he spoke with Rinky and got her to agree was very nice.
The hometruths that were brought home to Shaggy, by both Mihir and Ishita. The way Mihir told her, she did not matter to him nor did she matter to any one. Loved it when he said he made the biggest mistake by letting her re-enter his life !
Ishita, acknowledged what a fool she was when she thought that Shaggy deserved a second chance. Liked it when she acknowledged her foolhardy decision.
Loved it when Romi mustered up the courage to bring up his medical condition in front of his family and the hold of Shagun over him was broken.
The biggest blow to Shagun however was that it was Raman who threw her out, which brought him to her that her trump card and the biggest hold she has over Raman will not sway him. He is so so over her.
I hope, Toshiji and the rest of the Bhalla family apologise to Ishita for calling her an outsider and Raman apologises to her for standing as a mute spectator when his wife, the love of his life, was being abused by his mother !.
What I did not like, Adi witnessing his mother's humiliation. Yes, Shagun had it coming to her, absolutely. But, Aditya witnessing it, just broke my heart. Here is this vulnerable, confused and lost young boy, for whom Shagun is whole and sole. She is his bulwark, and here she is being thrown out by the one person who he thought he could bank on. This is the second time that he is being abandoned. First he was thrown out unceremoniously by Ashok, the person he thought of as his father. In fact he changed his name to Aditya Khanna, now when he thought things were getting back on track, he is being abandoned by the man who he hoped would stand by him, his own biological father, when he needed him.
The pre-cap, just broke my heart. The look in Adi's eyes was not even accusatory, it was a heartbreaking question, why are you doing this ? Are you too abandoning me ? He will take Raman's turning his back on him as abandonment, and he is too confused to realize that this action is breaking Raman's heart too.
@Krishy, the Rinky - Mihir marriage is going to have far reaching consequences after Mihika's truth comes out. My feel is that Ishita will support Mihir - Rinky and it will be Vandu - Mihika Vs. Ishita / Simmi and Bhalla Family.
@V sweetie, I call you my comrade in arms, my co-conspirator and you abandon me ? you began the trans-continental celebration without me, and now you take me completely out of contention where puttar is concerned ? I am heart broken. I said I have taken a step back, not given up my stake and claim on puttar !!! Booo Hooo Hooo.
