"When I was a little girl, everything in the world fell into either of these two categories: wrong or right. Black or white. Now that I am an adult, I have put childish things aside and now I know that some things fall into wrong and some things fall into right. Some things are categorized as black and some things are categorized as white. But most things in the world aren't either! Most things in the world aren't black, aren't white, aren't wrong, aren't right, but most of everything is just different. And now I know that there's nothing wrong with different, and that we can let things be different, we don't have to try and make them black or white, we can just let them be grey. And when I was a child, I thought that God was the God who only saw black and white. Now that I am no longer a child, I can see, that God is the God who can see the black and the white and the grey, too, and
He dances on the grey!
Grey is okay."

You know an episode where so many things happened...what stood out to me at the end was the Precap...and I'm a mother and an emotional one too...and that look in Adi's eyes...the unshed tears...and Raman's inability to answer the questions in his eyes...got to me more than anything else. Why do children have to sometimes pay for the mistakes of the adults. Gautam finally made a connection with Adi's soul today.

Coming to the episode...Another high octane dramatic episode but content-wise much more meaningful than yesterday. I liked all the things Ishita said to Mihir...but the fact remains...all those could have been done in the privacy of a room not in front of the world. What I loved more was Mihir's decision and how he reached out to the other important person in this marriage: Rinky and proposed the marriage. That's Mihir for you the quiet but sensitive and sensible one.Yes given the circumstance, "Clean fresh start" is the best way to go. I feel much better about Rinky and Mihir wedding.

Romi finally got the courage to speak the truth...Raised in a family where so much importance is given to GKC and the social pressure, his inhibition to disclose his impotency was not unexpected. Today he had the courage to own up and redeemed himself...and essentially put the proverbial last nail in Shagun's stay at Bhalla house.

And talking of acknowledging mistakes, loved Ishita owning up to her own fallibility...yes trusting in the goodness of others is not wrong but sometimes it is more practical to do that with open eyes. Chances of being blindsided to their evil designs are less.

And Shagun...like RKB says she likes Tamasha...and boy did she get a spectacle of Tamasha or not? Only the characters she thought would be impacted got messed up. And today Mihir gave her the fitting reply to her sermon about "Marriage, a lifetime commitment".

and finally the day to open the bubbly! Cheers! Round #2 tomorrow.

A scene I have been craving to see since the day I got hooked to YHM...Raman getting a chance to show the door this time to Shagun...

An episode of some rights and some wrongs and some in between.

"Truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy."
- Warren W. Wiersbe

Today's episode reminded me of the quote above, more to follow later.

Shagun's exit!!!

Update:
-------------------------------

G beautiful collages!!! I am sure everyone has said what I want to say so I apologize if this sounds redundant and pointless. I really liked today's episode because I am a sucker for simplicity of ideas and when goodness triumphs over evil I tend get to giddy.

Yesterday I had mentioned that they should have allowed Mihir and Rinki to develop this relationship slowly and gradually rather than forcing them into an alliance but Ishita's little speech sort of made me feel okay with this, she basically told them to explore their existing friendship further, would I have preferred Rinki choosing her career and developing a relationship with Mihir slowly, absolutely. But then again I do not make the show and beggars can't be choosers so I am just thankful for that little speech about friendship, companionship and marriage that Ishita gave.

I already mentioned this to you that I am thankful puttar finally found his voice but why not raise a voice in defense of your wife who you claim to love, why not shut your mom up when she called your wife an outsider, why not shut Shagun up when she was spewing hatred towards your wife, where was the husband when missus needed him the most. Khair chodo for TRP they are doing injustice to puttar's character and I am not happy but then again it's not my show, I don't have the money to make it so I am gonna look at the silver lining in all of this, I am gonna look at it with the lens of woman empowerment...I know I sound like a retard but I am trying to find a positive spin to puttar's loss of spine, my take is: ishita is no damsel in distress, she is intelligent and can fight her own battles, doesn't need a man to stand by her. It sounds stupid I know but I have to find some solace in this mess that they have made out of Raman and Ishita.

I am happy for Mihir, he deserves a good friend as a companion for life, like I mentioned yesterday I hope Rinki becomes to Mihir what missus has become to puttar! There was so much goodness between all that Mihir did and said today, the way he stood up for his bhabhi and sided with the truth without asking for any proofs. That says a lot about Mihir and the members of the Bhalla house, Mihir at once believed Ishita while Bhallas waited for Romi's truth and evidence to come out, so sad that no matter what a DIL will always be a DIL.

My heart went out to Romi, I am so glad he now has the support of his family, and frankly Sr. Mr. Bhalla owes an apology to his son for shunning him out when he needed his family the most.

Not commenting on Adi and puttar precap due to excessive feels. All I can say is wanted to take OUR(please note Vee) puttar into a big ghappi because of all the hurt I saw in his eyes. I feel so bad for puttar whenever life seems to be working out for him, shit hits the fan and life becomes a cluster f**k. They way puttar turned away from his jigar ka tukda and Adi's teary eyes..omg so many feels. Like I was telling Payal, I have never felt so bad for Adi because till now he was misguided, recently he somewhat sees the truth and yet he has no choice but to walk with his mom. For me, today Adi became an Adult.

#Too many feels for puttar

#Puttar find your voice

#Puttar is draupadi

#Still wanna jump puttar

I love the way Ishita explains things! I think if she were to explain to me, I'd be ready to sky dive, or eat vegetables, heck, I'd probably be ready to think about getting married! Whatever was happening today was not ideal. It'd have been better if they went home thinking how lucky their girl is. But the way she asked Mihir, the way she explained, made me think that it was okay. She didn't force, demand or coax, she just explained! And I was sold!

I loved the way Mihir reacted. I loved how he asked Rinki for a life time of friendship. Everyone is not lucky enough to spend the rest of their lives with their soul mates (if soul mates exist that is) but if you get to spend the rest of your life with a friend, I believe your life is enviable.

People do extraordinary things when they are pushed to their limits. Tonight Romi was pushed to his limits by Shagun. Ishita lent a supporting hand and he took it and tore apart the veil of lies and guilt. There was a dialogue in the movie Mary Kom which I think is apt in Romi's case- "Kabhi kisi ko itna bhi mat darao, ki dar hi khatam ho jaye". I believe if the CVs don't screw up further, he'd be a better man from now on.

Divyanka, Raj and Ali was superb tonight! Raj and Ali proved that given the chance, they could burn the screen too! Divyanka proved why she gets all those awards (I think she deserves more though)!

It was a dramatic episode. It was an 'Okay' episode yet I loved it. Like the quote in Gan's post say, real life comes in shades of gray, it's not always extraordinary or very good or terrible. Sometimes it's just okay and okay is fine! It's lovable!

P.S. Now Karan knows how actors of side characters feel! 🤣Poor guy has been standing there without anything to say or do for two whole episodes! How bored he must be!

Res

Gan, Sent you the Slap GIF

========================================

The episode had loads of drama and OTT but it had some moments which made me love the episode. First thing , Cheers to temp Shagun exit 👍🏼👍🏼. We are done with one slap and may be day after will be the next slap. I would have felt good if Puttar had given her one, par koi nahi. I am happy that Ishitha will be slapping her.

Oh yes many did not like the typical drama wala as in finding the groom then and there and getting the shaadi done. I have forgotten logic long back. But when Ishitha explained it out or rather the way she requested Mihir was something I really liked. Using her own relation, his broken relation. All made sense. Next thing Mihir just did not agree but he took a decision from his heart and spoke to Rinki. Whether it was in front of all or in private, he spoke things which made me respect Mihir as a great character. Touchwood, his character is one thing which CV's have not butchered and please please CVs don't ruin it. His character will have a solid role to play in the future and his relationship with the Bhallas and Iyers even after Mihika Mishap has been lovely.

Ishitha !!! finally understood Shagun's nature and made sure she reiterated the fact that shagun was picked up from the garbage 👏👏👏.. Whistles 🥳🥳. Def much needed dose. Even then she kept going on and on with Mihir to not agree with the wedding. He stood again with what he felt right and broke all ties with her again. Neither did any one pay heed to her stupid rambling in between. Reason to love the episode more. She fell harder and deeper is all I can say with that lame idea of stopping the wedding in the end 🤣🤣

Romi, poor fellow has done so much that his own family refuse to believe him in one go. But finally, it took a lot of coaxing to make him spit the truth about his non active swimmers. Loved it when Raman and Romi hugged 😳. I have always loved them together and today as well.

Whatever happened after that was an epic !! slap .. Thadaaa .. something we have been waiting since the very beginning. Finally mila aur wo bhi sabke samne. That made the slap special. My heart is dancing after the slap to even type out my happiness in words. But yes one great episode.

G, loved you writing as usual and the topic name "CHOICES" way too apt. You are just awesome 🤗. I am super happy to find the slap in the main post ☺️. Thank you 😳😃

I do not know if my rant made sense. Wrote something and yes IF messed it. This is the third time I am writing it. I really do not know if i made sense.

Res bc even though OTT drama doesn't suit YHM...she's on her way out!! 🥳

Oh also special shout out to RSA...he was fab as Mihir today (despite not being so elated about his character's trajectory)!
---
Loved reading your post, @Gan! You are so right that the precap and Mihir stole the show!
---
Updated from my phone and In a hurry so pardon the typos & lack of depth!

I have mixed feelings about the wedding sequence thus far...

One I'm SO DANG HAPPY that Shagun is on her way out. The combination of Mihir and Ishita's bashing of Shagun plus Toshiji's slap was fabulous!

I still find the general play of out of the wedding odd, but I absolutely loved Mihir's conversation with Rinki. Gosh outside of Puttar, Mihir is my favorite male character on the show! I hope they keep this jodi because even if Mihika's truth will hurt Mihir, marriage is not a game. Again...way to rock, RSA!

I wish Romi's truth didn't have to come out in such a public fashion. Bichara...but at least he finally arrived to defend his Bhabhi and clear his name.

The precap just pulled at my heart strings (love the collage of the duo, Gan!) How traumatizing must it be for a young boy, who was previously under the impression that his dad abandoned him, to see his father kick his mother and by extension him out? . My heart just breaks for Puttar and Adi!

After yesterday's episode, I read a comment of someone praising the episode for not being regressive and breaking stereotypes of a girl left at the alter. I was baffled because to me the whole episode yday was backwards...

It's NOT enough for a character to give a lecture on what's right. Yes it seems like the CVs use chatacters to bring awareness to issues (ie GKC ranting), but they never show supporting action bc drama seems to reign supreme. The CVs have to show follow through on the nayi soch and yesterday they failed on many accounts.

Probably the BEST example of proper social message delivery and action was the first Param track! All of Raman's words matched his actions and it was empowering. Yesterday Ishita talked about how a girl's life isn't over after being left at the alter but then she went & got Rinki married - why and with what motivation? #mind boggled

Here is my two issue with how things have shaped up...
(1) Why must Raman take action only when told? What has happened to our Puttar who didn't tolerate sh*t? It was pathetic yesterday to see him only react silently to his wife being ostracized from their family. Please bring back (for good) our Raman whose words match his actions!
As much as I love Puttar's dimpled face - they should not have even showed his pissed facial reactions during that fiasco yday if they were not going to show action on his end. This show is loved by SO many (including TV actors of OTT shows) bc it gives equal importance to both leads, but just showing facial reactions and a few almost empty dialogs is NOT equality between the leads!

(2) Constant OTT drama does not suit YHM. I understand they need it to grab the TRP audience, but to some degree it compromises the depth of relationships.

The scenes that spoke the most to me where the ones that highlighted the deep relationships on the show - Mihir's scene, Romi's revelation, and the precap!

Most importantly though she's FINALLY on her way out!

Brilliantly captured moment Gan!!!
Firstly, Cheers to our transcontinental celebration!!! Cheers to Shagun's Exit from Bhalla/Iyer house!!!!

I feel like dancing to this song right now even though I do not like it much😆

Coming to the episode- I liked some things, disliked others. While I am fine with the Mihir-Rinky jodi (forgetting that she ever called him Bhai) I feel this step is too soon. Mandap mein Dulha change karna is just too regressive a thought and I will never be ok with it. Moreover, even though Ishita made it seem like it is his decision to make- It seriously was an "ek taraf Kua, dusri taraf khai" situation for him either way he looks at it. It did look a lot like emotional blackmailing, but I guess they just did it for the sake of drama (Which seems to be their only concern now-a-days; so well, let's just leave it at that).

What I did like was Mihir's proposal to Rinky! RSA rocked in that scene. So kudos to him!!👏. Brilliant Job; Bang on expressions!!!! Another thing that I absolutely loved- Ishita's rebuttal to shagun- Thank you for saying that you were wrong in getting that Airhead into your home!!👏. Ishita pointed out each and everything that shagun has been trying to/wanting to do ever since she has enetered the house without mincing any words- and also straight off showed Shagun that she is not as naive as she thinks she is. She saw through it all- and will continue doing so!! Excellent!

Coming to RKB- When will he be given a voice????? More than what he has been given in the past few episodes??? When oh when CV's??? BUT- I loved the fact that he got to reject that woman on her face the same way she rejected him years back!!! Just to show her that Karma is indeed a bitch! Loved it that he was the one to show her the door.

The precap killed it for me- It was heartbreaking to see my Puttar that way! But it was also poignant in that- RKB finally showed Shagun that she can no longer manipulate him using Adi as her shield. I also still believe that for Ishita, Adi is yet Raman's son that she loves dearly coz he is Raman's jigar ka tukda. She has yet not reached the level of love that she feels for Ruhi. So all her hurt in the precap comes from seeing the man she loves in immense pain and seeing the child her husband loves abandoned again. (My POV) This time however, Adi's Father is going to fight back for his son. So i am really looking forward to the custody case. Hope against hope that the CV's handle it carefully and with the delicacy that such a case deserves.

For now- #Celebrations Are ON!!!!! #Part one Of Tamacha Over!!! #Bring on Part two!!!!

One person who moved me in this epi was Adi... I knew that this day'll always come. I knew that Adi must leave Shagun's hands and extend his hands towards Bhallas because they have already done everything to get Adi and now, Adi had to take the final call but this boy moved me...Those eyes...

Once again, on one side, there was his mother whom he loves unconditionally and on the other side, there was his family, his father who promised him that he won't let him go away from him... That's the one reason why he was trying to catch Raman's eye...

I told this earlier... While leaving, Adi'll make us cry and he did that today.

Another person whom i was expecting to create a impact in me yesterday did that today... Mihika... When she retraced those steps, she created that impact... There were two lovers who love each other unconditionally to be separated by their fate...

Ishita's lecture and revelation drama was already expected... So, there was nothing interesting about that... Ishita finally admitted her mistake. This is the woman i was waiting to see all these days... Finally, thanks cv's...

Every bitter divorce carries with it some bitter memories... Some bitter relationships... Adi is facing the brunt here... But, this marriage will always subsist in someone's hate and someone's desperation... That's Adi and Shagun... In this story, all is well can never happen. Hope cv's remember that too because marriage is not a joke...

My take...I'm a lazy girl...Pasting it from Lu thread...
