Krishy don't even get me started on the gender inequality in America, the fact that in 2015 a woman makes 70 cents to a man making a dollar for the very same job, the fact that my reproductive health is topic of debate, the fact tat birth control is a topic of debate, abuse that is rampant in our society and the disparity in research for diseases affecting men and women is appalling.
Go ask a random person what are they symptoms of a heart attack, (MI) and they will rattle off all the male symptoms, there is gender inequality in healthcare and sadly there is not much being done about it.
Word.
Gender roles and gender inequality in my mind are different things. We live in gender roles but can overcome them, if we desire, but with gender inequality, you have to fight an entire system.
We just covered how a woman who presents with an MI more often receives lower quality care than a male patient. #W*F We had 4 hours of lecture about gender inequality in medicine, and I wanted to blow a fuse the entire time. 🤢
This thread has gone from a #GoPuttarGo to gender roles, which goes to prove that when this show is fairly managed - educated people are prone to discuss the underlying issues.
Even tough men cry - case in point, Puttar.
Puttar's stubble game in this picture = on point. The emotional quotient of this scene = wonderfully senti.
