Today RKB's apology made me respect him more as a man...A man who could give up the the job he has worked so hard for, for the respect of his family. It takes a unique man to do so. I always have liked the fierce loyalty in RKB ...like when he stood by Mihir without any question during MMS fiasco or today standing up for Appa with complete trust.

Does this look like a man who is bowing in apology or a man who is making a statement for his choices? "Sorry" is not a generic phrase, the emotions behind it...makes it different.

In defense of Raman Bhalla.

I know this is a different post than my usual style...
and though I try to keep myself objective when it comes to support for a character...but sometimes some things need to be said ...

I could see a man who gave his everything to his work now made to realise he doesn't own the company which he considered as his child.
I could see a son feeling hurt, feeling embarrassed on seeing his father (yes he does consider his father in law as his father) facing such humiliation.

It wasn't a sorry! It was a mark of respect for his family, for his wife's father n for his ownself.

I agree completely 😊 I loved the stand Raman took today. Not for a moment did he think of any repurcussions or anything else. He just stood up strong for his family. I love that trait about him. He doesn't only love or take a stand for his wife but her family too.😳
He first helped appa in a way he wouldn't feel insulted n today stood up for him like a true son 👏

Honestly if I would have been in ishita's place I would have just hugged him then and there.

I loved the whole dialogue it showed how much he loves his company but for his family his kids his wife he can give up everything. And I knew he is always like this
He never thought simmi as a burden like her mom does.

That is y though sometimes Raman gets overboard with his love for adi I can't hate or dislike him because a man who beats up and is ready to put his own brother behind the bars for in laws, giving away his position for his mother's daughter who is his wife but not love(then) doesn't have any limit to love his child, he gets wrong sometimes. Raman is too weak and vulnerable wen is loved ones r at stake.

Agree completely G, and I think this post was much needed. That sorry did not make Raman into a supplicant or anyone's bhakt. That is not the pose of a man bowing down, it is the pose of a man standing up for his family, his self respect, his beliefs. I love the character of Raman Bhalla - that ladies, is a MAN.

I find his decisions incorrect more often than not but tonight he was right. This time he wasn't saying sorry out of his helplessness but out of his strength.

Yes, the CVs have messed with Raman's character before.
But today that was not the case.

Today you saw RKB, the no nonsense businessman.

Today you saw Raman live up to one of the most important vows he made to his wife - that he would respect her parents as his own if not more.

Today you saw Puttar stand up for his family and his own self respect.

Today you saw a man of principles who may falter & have weaknesses, but his ultimate path never deviates from what's right.

Today my respect for this well crafted character increased ten-fold, and I will continue to gush over him through the ups & downs! #FangirlStatus

"Never apologize for showing your feelings. When you do, you are apologizing for the truth." ~Jos N. Harris, MI VIDA: A Story of Faith, Hope and Love

RKB is honestly the most imperfect perfect man. Every women should get a husband like Raman. For Raman to say sorry is not a sign of his weakness but shows the strength of his character. I love the bold statement Raman made today. He values relationships more than money. What Raman did today, he did for the respect of his family and I salute him for that.
