... I would like to add 1 more suggestion to your list.

If all else fails turn to one of the oldest Laws of the jungle: approach the target carefully and with slight steps so as not to spook or frighten- delete the word kiss form your request and demand a Ruhi style punishment and work your way out from there!😉
