I guess 😆...But this is how I want it...One slap whose sound would resonate in the Bhalla House for the rest of their lives

Re.: Christina Yang- she is my spirit animal. Mer- Cristina are one of my fave TV friendships ever.

I was so broken when Sandra Oh left the show. The central character may be Mer but Yang was the lifeline of GA. Me too Mer-Yang friendship - Love them.

On that note... Ishita needs a person...she does not have a person... thought it might have been Miku, I was wrong... Pleas give Ishu a a forever female friend CVs, she deserves @least that!😊

I so agree...but where in Indian shows do you get to see the female lead having a Person? They have to show her as super-woman who solves everything single-handedly without having anybody to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

So I watched the episode and I am not angry I am just disappointed and saddened. This show had so much potential, it could have been a path breaking show for Indian television but sadly it got reduced to a low class B grade movie.

I get it they need to show friction between the couple because no one wants to see romance 24/7 but is this regressive storyline necessary to bring out friction.

I refuse to rant about this anymore as this is my fault. It is my fault that I got invested in a show and then actually spend time coming online and discussing it because the reality is no one gives crap about what we think. I have been told that the actors, director and the writers visit this forum and I bet they laugh their asses off at our obsession with this show and they probably can't fathom that there are people like me out in the world who spend their precious time discussing a show online and get nothing in return. And they should laugh at this absurdity because while they get rich and make their millions, I come here and give a damn about this show.

In one interview Ms. Ekta Kapoor had said that she kept aside a budget to nurture young writers, she had made this point to highlight how advance the TV industry is compared to the Indian film industry. I frankly fail to see the advancement in TV with such writing, I am a science person far removed from the world of creativity but even I can tell you Ms. Kapoor, that your writers are doing less than stellar job these days.

The moral of the story is, the actors get rich, the producer makes millions, the writers are spread thin working on multiple shows at once and in the middle of this cluster F**k we are the morons giving a crap about a substandard product.

And here is the kicker, can you imagine how much fun all the actors and the makers of the show might be having laughing at us when they find out that the are people out in the world who spent their precious time fighting over Raman vs. Ishita, I mean can you imagine the laugh riot in their offices, make up vans etc when they read our posts and see how much we care and we actually give a shit.

I have learned my lesson, no more ranting! Screw them, gonna watch to enjoy, what I don't like I will forward and when it gets too much I will stop watching. I am not going to be a laughing stock for a bunch of millionaires. Thanks but no thanks.

I had to get it out because it was bothering me, I know I am a nerd. 😆

WORD MY FRIEND👏

i know what actually actors think about the fans base there r very very rare actors who actually feel good about they have fan following & respect it at there backs but actually they make fun on the sets & sitting gossiping about the fans & well for creatives of the show they r openly bash the public who is viewing the crap they serve to audience as they wont care about they r Earning that is there priority...till trps wont go down they less care off well even after trps go down they less care off only if the will to run that show bring on bk to track of producers can do something...
Otherwise who cares about how Low Class entertainment they serve till TRPS r there they r earning well...WHO GIVES THE DAMN...

Underlined..Seriously...Like Seriously?? Raman would do that to get Ishita's possessive side out? 😕 Sorry for sounding like a world class bi**h but NOPE HE HAS LOST IT!

I am pretty sure this is what happens behind the scenes😆😆 makes sense.

That part with the sardarji his so true, actors spouting typical punjabi words automatically makes them punjabi. Just like saying "aiyoo amma" and "murrugan" makes ishita tamil. how very convincing😆

Am not a regular viewer here.
And not a great fan of YHM..but I do watch it sometimes, because I like the concept of this story, but the way the CV's are spoiling the show now with this stupid track is horrible,
This show was an Amazing piece and it will continue to be, if the CV's act smart rather than spoiling such a nice show.

edit:

P.S. This is Ekta's show and I was 100% sure she would spoil this show, and she is doing it now.
And that's one of the reason, why I stopped myself from falling in love with show, because at the end of the day..this is what ekta does to a show. Which I hate soo much.

Ganbarun,I usually try to look at things from a different perspective, and the reasons I have been hooked onto YHM,are its layered writing, and cryptic characters, especially RKB.The CVs have always left us room open for interpretation.

Today's episode stretched my patience to breaking point.Amen to everything you wrote.I felt as though I were watching Saath Nibhana Sathiya.

So Vandu tried to engineer a truce between Ishita and Mihika, and Ishita almost cracked, going into fb mode.Mihika weeps at Akka's contempt, and lays her claim to sainthood, through her martyrdom for Mihir. Lady, you should be grateful she did not chop you into tender morsels, and serve you up as kebabs to her delightful in-laws.You got her into this mess, first with your "I will save Shagun from the horrible serpent" campaign, and then "I will save Mihir from death by hanging." You practically threw Akka under the bus,by leaving Shagun and Adi wide open as loose ends. She has been put into a Catch 22 situation, and frankly I do not see how the CVs manage to resolve this one.Even if Ruhi does stand up for Ishima during Lohri, that does not get SHADI out of the house and lives of the Bhallas.

The real culprits, however, behind the obnoxious dilemma that Ishita faces today, are her father and FIL.We have long written off Toshi as an opportunistic bigot, and that ship sailed a long time ago.

But Mr Om Prakash Bhalla, where is the decisiveness that you displayed when your family had its back pressed against the wall during Ruhi's custody case the first time around?Nobody wanted Ishita in the house except you,but you had the guts to take everyone on.In the NY debacle, you merely said what was happening was wrong.Like a side commentary. And when your tunnel-visioned spouse remarked that Adi looked so happy, you smiled wanly.Today when your assinine grandson referred to your DIL as a neighbour, you kept mum.Bravo! Ruhi's custody has been decided in your family's favour permanently. Is that why Ishita no longer counts as a human being? I know that custody was granted to Ishita Bhalla, but you know that she will never walk out.At heart, she's traditional, and considers marriage to be a sacred bond. Why are you allowing her beliefs to be mocked? Why does it take your granddaughter to recognise and address your DIL's pain, and not you?YOU brought Ishita into the family. Now you appear to be self-serving.

Mr. Vishwanathan Iyer, what in God's name were you thinking? For those of us who taunt Ishita's generosity as 'mahaanta',I would like them to remember that she did not want to get married to Raman in the first place. All her love for Ruhi could not persuade her to commit a suicidal act.She said no,and then you resorted to archaic emotional blackmail, going on a hunger strike. She was still reluctant and tried to wriggle out of it.She placed a condition that Raman would never agree to,that of Mihir's surrender. It is not a crime to be a single professional woman. It is unusual to remain single, but it is NOT a crime.Becoming Ruhi's mother was not the same as adopting Ruhi in isolation. You were aware of the lunacies of the Bhalla clan from the start. For heaven's sake, they even hid the fact that Raman had another child from your family. You knew your daughter's nature, you knew that she always put others first,to the point of being exploited.Did it feel good to see your daughter's MIL blasting her for carelessness about Adi,when she herself had brought Adi back, effectively signing her own rights away? That's why Raman loves Ishita, you told Madhavi, and went back to your crossword puzzle. So Raman would not love Ishita if she had put her foot down and said,I came here for Ruhi, not Adi?

RKB,what can I say?I have always tried to find some sort of intellectual explanation for your bloopers,to absolve you.Right now,I'm running on empty.Your inexplicable obsession towards Adi is confirming my worst fears, that you have unresolved feelings towards Shagun that you haven't addressed. You had told Toshi that Adi was representative of the happier times you spent with Shagun, the first time you allowed Ishita to be humiliated. In getting close to Adi again, are you reliving the halcyon days with Shagun,I.e. are you getting closer to Shagun again vicariously? And how long before the lines of your subconscious and conscious blur, and you make the final overture to her,all in the name of your son's happiness?Right now,you have a bee in your bonnet about Ishita, but is it just physical attraction that you're trying to wrap very nicely as love,to assuage your guilt? You could not even tolerate the mere mention of Subbu and Mani had you drawing daggers. Despite whatever Ishita had said, why did you conveniently accept her assurance at face value, that she was not insecure about Shagun?Even when you took the high road, you could not bear the sight of Ishita and Mani together, and you had to emigrate to Singapore. Why did you give identical earrings to Ishita,to prove that she had parity with Shagun? They were not family heirlooms anyway, not when you had them made. Why not create a new tradition with a different design?

Or is this part of your game plan after all,to back Ishita into a corner,to make her stake her claim on you, once and for all?"Pati hoon na main tumhara, meri beti ki ma ho na? Toh fir jataa patni hone ka haque,jo tum kar nahi paogi".That night when you crossed all borders of decency to claim Ishita physically,I did not despise you.I pitied you,do you know why?Because molesters don't cry.Are you pulling the same stunt that you did with Mihir,to get him to confess his love for Mihika? You always were such a drama king, and perhaps you're doing this to bring out Ishita's passionate side?

Only time,and the CVs,will tell.

Absolutely loved your post.

Mr. Bhalla - It has oft been noticed in a desi soap that parental figures who are also side characters, do not have any authority. Or any spine. Or apparently any vocal organs. Unless they are playing the negative role coz then they can lead the entire the family like a snake with hypnotic eyes. Since Mr.Bhalla is not in a negative role he lacks the ability for hypnosis or speak much. In fact I believe the Purpose of his existence was fulfilled the day he got the hero & heroine married. He has lost his voice since.

Mr. Iyer - Well, this man is even less vocal than his dear samdhi. Infact if am not wrong before "striking" out on his daughter, he was literally steam rolled into agreeing for the marriage by Mr.Bhalla himself. I believe his issues stem from the fact that he has Madhavi Iyer as his wife. Also I lost all hopes from him when he was quite during the Param fiasco. At least his wife took a stand.

Waise one thing always amused me at the time of Ishra marriage. Mr. Bhalla mentioned that he wanted Raman and Ishita to marry for Ruhi - his grand-daughter. Mr. Iyer then goes on to say the same thing to Ishita -- Think about Ruhi. Arey baba, she is not your grand-daughter (atleast not at that time !!).

Raman - I said the same thing a couple of days ago. Raman still seems to have unresolved issues when it comes to Shagun. In fact, his refusal that no-one can come between Ishita & him is incorrect. Shagun is there between them ... and making her place more so now. With Raman doing nothing to prevent this.

Ishita - Well, there is a time to speak up and there is a time to play the victim. She needs to decide what she wants to be now.
