Aani - you have magical way with words, I seriously get pulled into them 😆 I totally agree with you on all perspectives this time.

Although in a haste while viewing Mani comes off as interfering, but if I go deep into his thoughts I still do have faith in his good intentions for his friend.

In all the discussions so far I've finally found my answer in regards to Raman's recent thoughts and his decision highlighted by the promo. When Ishita and Raman married, it was a compromise, Raman had no intention of marrying, and no idea how to deal with it. He had fallen apart once his first marriage and broke and ever since, had lost everything in him that loved, that knew how to love. His temper was his weakness and he flawed in the marriage more than once. Now its his turn to redeem all those mistakes by making one last mistake by thinking that Ishita can be happier if she isn't with him. This is for him to understand that he can make her happier and be fair and just even while they stay together. He just needs to make that one last effort to come half way to her. And it isn't so hard because he already is changing, has already come a long way as a husband, father and person. He's healed, begun to love, begun to trust.. And it is this love which is making him weak because he is failing on seeing his wife in pain because of him.

But then again, Ishita is his strength, and he himself said - I need you to be my strength.

@Bhu - why do you think I write long posts? I like to win an argument - High School debate champion and yeah one of the keys to winning - say so much and in such a way your opponent is hardpressed to keep up and even if he/she does the sheer length of your argument should put them in a spot and have them sweating bullets 🤣 🤣 your opponent should be like Oh did I cover this and that and that - LOL in keeping track of what you said they tend to lose their own way 😉😆

😆 and its a key to help you think from any and all perspectives - makes you neutral until you chose a side - cos in my school you wouldnt know the topic of debate until you are at the dias 😆 and then once the topic was declared pro or anti would be decided by flipping a coin or by a chit - the leader picked it of course...and so the moment the topic was declared you tended to think of all points - anti and pro which is what our teachers liked to do, they wanted us to cover all bases 😳 today that habit comes in handy for writing neutral posts 😳

Hello ladies. Hope all well today. I see the discussions are raging.

There were some good moments which stood out in the epi yday:

Raman for the first time spoke about his khaami. And for that kudos. to the writer. For inadequacy is usually found in the woman, physical, emotional, intelligence-wise. Yesterday when Raman spoke of a man's shortcoming that too of the non-physcial nature it was a beautiful foil to the earlier scenes where Ishu was taunted for being barren.

In the Amma Raman conversation, the message conveyed was so lovely. And it was nice to see Amma remind Raman that he cared for Ishita. So though there was a parallel between Simmi-Vandu and Raman-Amma they also brought out the contrast between the husbands in question. Param who did not care for anyone bar himself and Raman who cared for his family and Ishita. I see the emphasis on the dialogue on ending a painful relationship but Amma also mentioned that there is a limit to how much a woman has to bear and shed tears for in a marriage. And that is what I think Raman will latch onto. No more tears and pain for Ishita because she has borne enough hatred and anger. They have exploited her goodness and large heartedness enough. For the extent that she has "sawaaroed" Raman's life, it is his turn to shita ke life ko sawaarna"

While Simmi in her blindness has shielded Param, it is Ishita's love that has made her shield Raman's mistakes / shortcomings - his anger, his weakness for his children, his over-protectiveness of Adi, etc. (Yes there was a hint of the future ominous with Vandu but lets leave that aside for now).

Raman omitted mentioning Adi as the executor of the crime. Perhaps it was so that the family and Ishu would not stop him from punishing him. But somewhere it felt he was still protecting Adi by letting Adi be his weakness. Yes he promised Ishita that he would punish all including Adi so that gives me hope that Raman will going forward learn that by protecting Adi or showing his anger on him all he is doing is making him more vulnerable. Adi is a pre-teen no longer a child so though Raman longs to protect the child that was wrenched away from him he has to learn to calmly teach the pre-teen the consequences of his actions on others other than his mother, teach him right from wrong.

Interestingly Simmi was the one who mentioned Adi's name. It was Simmi who once told Romi that it was her constant protection and "shay" that has made him so irresponsible, made him so flippant about the consequences of his actions. Similar to Raman's for Adi.

The promo is playing out for Raman said for Ishita's happiness, today Amma mentioned for a woman's happiness in marriage and the fbs of Simmi / Param and Adi with Ishita. Today Simmi apologized. Custody or no custody, Adi too needs to apologize to Ishita. He needs to realize that she deserves respect because she is his father's wife, his sister's mother.

There is a hint of the Ruhi calling Raman her most favourite person track. Ishita will be the guiding light here too like there. Today she already told Raman that anger is not the solution. She already said they needed to tackle Adi's anger management issues.

However there Ishita became Ruhi's Ishima - the mother whom the child missed. And now it is Raman's turn to become Adi's father.

Today Raman will choose Adi because that is the insecure child, insecure of his father's affections, insecure of whether he will be wrenched away from his mother in the future. Ruhi is secure for she has found stability, assurance of parents'love and of love between her parents. A short vacation to paati's house will not deter her. Adi needs assurance of his parents love for him but he also needs to see that there is no love or concern between his parents. That his father never abandoned him rather it was an illusion created by a woman who gave birth to him but forgot to nurture him.
