24 Karat Bracelet? No wonder it broke!

Jeez CVs ..as far as I know NO one makes jewelry with 24 karat gold ..the most you can go up to is 22 Karat ...beyond that the percentage of gold is so high that it becomes too soft to shape into jewelry ..You can probably buy 24 KT gold coins for investment ..but 24 Kt gold jewelry is rather unheard of ..even in "Madrasi" stores!

Well, given that Raman has complaints that it broke ..it's probably because of its purity and high gold content...not because it was made from a madrasi store !! ..or local store as per Ishita ...I wish they either didn't say that it was 24 Karat ..or they didn't give some random racist reasons for breaking ..

Anyways they gonna ruin half episode talking about the bracelet from last week ..like there is nothing else to talk about ...at least they shouldn't make random dialogs!

Really?!! I've heard of gold plating with 24K gold but the entire bracelet with 24K gold is a new thing to me! ..that would be way too soft IMO ..

Don't know about north indians but south indians prefers nothing less than 24carats

No way! i'm south indian and all gold you get in the form of jewelry in stores in Chennai are all 22K max..

anyone?? ..can someone seriously point me to a site that sells 24K gold jewelry

Sry to interupt u guys.BUT ishu bought tat bracelet from mr kakkar n he is not south indian

-infact raman blamed tge other day that ishu bought mani a gift from HIS guy (which is mr kakkar).so it makes no sense to say racist comments such as "from madrasi market"

-as far as I remembered raman threw away the bracelet several times 1.the day ishu gifted it to him n he thought it was for mani 2.on the awards night when he was sitting at the bar 3.the night after the award ceremony when he was sitting in his room n crying due to ishus betrayal.

Sry to say but every jewellery has an endurance limit.

Btw there is 24carat,we in Europe have it ;)

My dear before gold became a retail obsession all gold jewel left was made in 24 carat! When foreign companies started investing in gold and when gold started becoming retail to maintain profit margins gold was only made in 18-22 and gold makers convinced people that cannot make in 24 which BUllShit. The more other metals are added to gold the. Karat decreases to keep profit margins retail gold companies keep adding other metals and telling people that 24 is not possible - the truth is they are mixing a lot in gold and reducing its carat

All gold before 1980s was made in 24 carat.
