I am a silent reader and have just started watching this show. caught up with all the episodes.
Raman is a very complex character. He was extremely nice and bhola during his marriage with Shagun and she turned out to be someone who didn't appreciate him.

So he started putting on a defensive nature by simply being rude and mean. He built a wall around him of such behavior so no one can break that wall and look into his vulnerable side, and take advantage of it.

Both Ishita and Raman are correct in their own perspectives.
Raman, well .. I am not happy with his reaction towards Ishita. He cannot just burst out , do what ever and then feel sorry and expect the other party to understand.
Before, when he did this behavior, (towards Ruhi during the father track) Ishita understood him and kind of helped him out. But that is not the case any more.

That Ishita was a third person. Ruhi's mom. She had no emotional connection what so ever (not to that of an extent) with Raman. To her , Raman was Ruhi's father and his behavior and balance was important to her , as much as it concerned Ruhi and nothing more or less.

Where as now, she is in love with Raman. So what ever he does effects her. She is not thinking with her brain, she cannot think with her brain anymore as her heart has taken over. So now even the smallest of remarks from him will hurt her.

When he used to do shagun shagun , she never really cared before and actually sympathized with her, now when he did the same , she got hurt and started crying. That does not mean she is weak, its just that she loves him.

we cannot compare ishita of before with ishita of now. But I am proud that Ishita has decided to let Raman work this out on his own. She is right that no matter what she says he will not listen to her cause he believes something else to be true and for that to be shattered, he has to find out on his own.

same with bracelet case, she did try to tell him. It didn't work. He just reacted and when he found the truth out, he pulled out some silly stunt , which again Ishita said I cannot tolerate lack of trust. There is no relationship where there is no trust.

he needs to understand that. SHe trusts him. She knows that when he is going out with shagun or hanging out with other girls, yes she can feel jealous, cause she is a woman, but that does not mean she is thinking he is going to leave her. And she is expecting the same from him.

Anywayzz my 2 (lamba) cents :)

Agree with you completely BUT I'll add he must really set her free where a husband can't always have a brother sister like relationship always since they are married.
Obviously Ishita can't take the first step she at least said it to Mani and Mihika that she loves Raman though married for Ruhi ke liye.

Regarding the hug...she hugs Bala too just like Mani..its a friendly hug ...why didnt people have a problem then...wasnt he the same Raman who was busy remembering his ex wife when his present wife was fasting for him...

excuse me, I'm gonna just quote only a part of your earlier reply to another one..

What should Raman thank Ishita for honestly ? Raman doesn't know Ishita worked with Mani to help him gain this post, Raman was already working towards his success even before Ishita came into his life, "CEO Awards" remember ? Raman was about to give away his post earlier for Ishita & Ishita helped him save the post, that's the only thing which Raman could credit her for, which he did in the previous occasion too. Raman never shied away from praising Ishita when needed let it be his Tamil Speech or at the earlier award function, which Ishita was proud of too.

Ishita gave him happiness but if it wasn't for Shagun he might have not been in the current position, he didn't insult Ishita directly through his speech, he was sarcastically taunting her.

About the hug, then why in the world did Ishita have an issue with Trisha's hug earlier ? Couldn't that be considered a friendly hug ? Why the double standards for the same person ?

The problem here is not Ishita or Raman but its with the CV's, they have taken the characters for granted & have been flip-flopping on their sketches. Ishita has been butchered to no extent since Mani came into frame, yesterday they took the liberty of butchering Raman's character to almost a point of no return.

I agree with the OP, regarding Raman should set her free, I'm divided on giving away Ruhi though, as its a much more complex issue.

This time away from each other will give them personal space to ponder about their actions. Alas, we won't get to see that based on today's SBS

In glorifying Ishu-Ruhi relationship, the CVs have just ignored Raman-Ruhi bonding. Even if they separate, Ruhi will any day go and be with RAMAN...rem, he is her favourite..and somebody pointed it out very well here..that when she got attached to ishita, raman was treating her horribly and shagun toh never cared a damn about her...but now things are fine...she loves both her parents, n if she has to make a choice..she will choose RAMAN..ANY DAY...
Why shud Ishita have Ruhi's custody? She isnt her biological mother...its like a case of rebound for ruhi...she got attached to Ishita and still is...but her ultimate pure love is for her father alone!!

And yeah, when Rama doesnt even KNOW what ishita was up to, why wud he thank her? and if he didnt, why such an impact? Just coz shagun ka naam liya? shitty double standards, seriously..

Abhi MANI hai life mein toh she is taking raman for granted..I really want RAMAN to bid her goodbye, and find someone who is worth his time yaar...uff

Also where the man keeps on having whatsoever with his ex wife now will also developed a soft corner for her.(Shagun)

I am shocked at the ideas expressed by women in this thread. I cannot understand the kind of mindsets we have that makes us look at and perceive actions by other women in this light. The woman is being badgered by this man at every point...I was amazed at the abusive manner in which he treated her. And yet we have women on the forum sympathizing with him. Shocked.

Good for Ishita. She doesn't have to bear the so called taunts of so called "Janwar" anymore then.

Blame Ishita first then for madly loving that "abusive" man.

I can even handle SHAGUN now...just pissed off with ISHITA..and also the way CVs butchered RAMAN's character in that drunk episode, making him look so weak and ...well...no words for it..
Why cant we have the dhaansooo RAMAN BHALLA back?? The guy who gives a damn who she moves around with...and doing things on his own...being the self-respecting gentleman he once was...and sparing few words of pity for ishu-mani's over-diabetic jodi..
pathetic..

My suggestion is...CVs ..please..GET SOME NEW FEMALE ENTRY IN THE SAME CAPACITY AS MANI..and let's sit back and watch the fun..to hell with damn MUs and confession...had my husband done this nonsense, and expected me to read his mind and just be okay with it (like Ishita has), i wud totally shut him off my radar for no less than a good quarter of a year!!

Dont know WHAT messages CVs are conveying to this dumb laachaar indian audience like us!!
