I think this misunderstanding bit, although over the top makes sense if ever Subbu returns into Ishita's life in the future.. As Mani being the catalyst now, will be one of the reasons that will lead Raman to over come his insecurities and Ishita in understand her husband even better,, So if CVs are planning to bring Subbu to create further trouble Raman will not doubt nor be insecure of their relationship , instead will speak and sort out..

Only if the mu cleared then there would b any future,i can't see any future till now,really very much frustrated with all this mess
