@krikumar. Hi
Even though I'm not convinced...but it was nice discussion! I think even if writer comes n explains even then I won't get convinced! This track so unrealistic! Suddenly one friend popping up from nowhere n after his entrance ishita became handicap n her cognitive abilities declined!
So called best friend was not with her wen she was in real troubles! N to such friend ishita sharing her personal family problems! Very unrealistic!!
There r many counterarguments to what u said
Discussion will go on.. Once we start!
So better we stop here! 😊
Thanks for reply!

If Ishita is not required to give a "character certificate," then neither should Raman. If Ishita can "assume" that Raman is still in love with Shagun, then why can't Raman assume that Ishita loves Mani? She has given him plenty of reasons to think so (the many examples of this OTT friendship have been mentioned already).
Why not? But, the question is did Ishita ask for one, i meant is she expecting Raman to come out to give a certificate? Is she hurting Raman based on those assumptions... But, Raman is doing that... He wants Ishita as his wife and not just as Ruhi's mother... If he wants that, he must come out and confront her...Regarding the point about men and women being "friends only," I think Mani and Ishita themselves have squashed the concept of a platonic friendship between two people of opposite gender. Mani openly flirts with Ishita and tells her that he is/was "in love" with her and would have gladly accepted her into his life as a partner after Subbu's exit. Then we see them flirting again with Mani proposing marriage to her. Even if we ignore the most recent interaction between the two as harmless flirting, there have been plenty of instances where Mani has seriously expressed his attraction towards Ishita and Raman has been a witness to this. So yes a man and woman can be "friends only" but In the Ishita-Mani situation, this is clearly not the case as one of them has been shown to be attracted to the other in a romantic manner.
Raman can give his card and flirt with a girl in a night club even when Ishita is not there but Ishita can't do that before her husband...in a playful manner... Why?I agree that Mani is attracted towards Ishita but is Ishita realising that? No... She's naive and innocent to read between the lines... Yes, Raman can see that... If he can see the same, why didn't Raman tell Ishita about the same? Communication gap between them is the main issue...
