CHAPTER 3



Ishita is trying to soak in the city.She poked her head out of the car and let the breeze run through her hair.The car halted abruptly at a red light and broke her spell.

She bent to take water bottle as the bottle is nearer to Raman. Her slightly wavy hair which is dancing in the air is touching him a little, making him conscious of her presence.She took the bottle and opened the bottle cap.

He noticed her long beautiful fingers..and her beautiful nails .. She isn't wearing any nail color but they are shining? may be its transparent nail color...

Wait what the hell is he thinking about.. her Nails & Nail color.. Its unbelievable...Why is he observing very very specifically.His own behavior puzzled him.

She is gulping water..and licking her already wet lips in between ,and gulping again which made him gulp too.He couldn't take his eyes off her.

She is wearing some simple white color top and a light shaded blue jeans.

She is Beautiful!!!

Damn! where is my control?


Finally he is concentrating on the road which he supposed to do since the beginning as he is driving.

How ugly the road is... If not ugly,its definitely not beautiful like Ishita.

Now he is perfectly normal.. in his own control,like always... Driving on the UGLY UGLY road.

"Raman plz stop the car... " she said at City Hospital& Research center.

"Thanx for dropping me" she said waving her hand before leaving.He stared at her retreating back for a minute before driving back to home.He was asked to drop her after their early morning breakfast so he completed his task not thinking that he is getting late to his office.

"Ma'am you can go inside..." finally Ishita listened something that she wanted to listen since an hour.

" Dr.Mishra..."she addressed some fifty year old man in his personal cabin.

"Its Ishita.."she introduced herself in a simplest way. "Ishita Iyer... Dr.Isita Iyer...right! ..." he said smiling.

"Shourya told me that you are in practice and you are also doing a part time pg course in CDC,Atlanta" He said."Yes,Doctor..." she replied.

Dr.Mishra is father of Shourya who is Ishita's friend.Shourya is also doing his pg in CDC where they met and eventually became good friends.

"Stop being formal.You can call me as Uncle" Dr.Mishra said and Ishita smiled in reply.
"Shourya told me everything about you.You are facing all the circumstances alone.You are very strong dear"

"Being strong is the only choice I have right now.."she smiled, Its not a wry smile,Its not a forced smile, Its just a smile how a smile supposed to be.

How can she smile as if she is the happiest person in world even though life gave her so many reasons to be unhappy...

"You came to India about a case study related to Ebola virus right?Shourya told me that you need my help.But In what way I can help you." Mishra asked.

"Yes uncle! I'm here for that case study,but I can manage it alone.I'm here for some other reason too.I need you for that thing and you are the only person who can help me in this" She said handing him some file of Reports.

Raman Bhalla is biting his nails,ruffling his hair and rubbing his neck.

He is in his office, His Kingdom, the place where everyone treats him like a king but not any animal or bird like that firecracker treats.The place where he no need to fall on the floor like this morning but can sit in his chair like a king.

But why isn't he behaving like a king.Kings don't bite nails like that.


"Sir AJ called to my number for you as your phone is in off" his PA Lyra's voice broke his thoughts.

When did lyra come into my cabin...she asked my permission?... She may have... but I'm not in this world then how can I know...

"AJ?" Raman wondered not getting about whom his P.A is addressing.


"Anjelina Jolie.."she replied grinning.

"W..what?" he frowned but immediately understood what she is talking about.A smile which he wanted to suppress is crept on his face remembering how he mentioned Ishita as AJ at airport.

"How do you know that Ishita is same person that I have mentioned on that day" he wondered.

"I can guess..." Lyra replied cheekily.

"You are very intelligent. That's why you are my personal assistant..."He said which he always says to her for which she smiled like she always does.She may be drooly in nature but she is very efficient in work that's the reason why Lyra is his P.A. A successful businessman needs an intelligent P.A.

"What she said?" he inquired. "AJ asked weather you have had your lunch or not..."Lyra said before leaving.

Here she is again being all caring...

Ishita is being very nice to him.In fact its more than nice.He obviously enjoying it but her gestures are indifferent to her nature that's what confusing him.

In two years of his relationship with Shagun there are so many times , Shagun tried to make them interact over phone but not even a single time Ishita shown interest to talk with him .He taught that she is snooty but Shagun used to defend her sister by saying that she is an introvert, she doesn't get along with new people easily, but she is really very nice person.

Now all of sudden why she is here.The Very first day when she came he was told by her that she is a Doctor, She came here for a case study for thirty days, but he wasn't convinced because she can be at any place but she preferred to be with him.He is RB after all..not a fool to be fooled by her or by anyone.He came to understand one more thing that her relationship status is single eventhough she didn't say..He wanted to ask about Ruhi... but he felt that its her personal and its too early to ask...

Last three days were completely different to Raman.All the caring from her made him awkward. But Two can play the game.. so Raman decided to be nice with her like she is being with him and move close to her... so that he can know whats the reason behind her out of blue visit and her all the sudden caring.That's the reason why he said that cheesy line to her this morning which he read in some social networking site.That's the reason why he offered her to teach making Poori even though he doesn't know how to -at first he has to learn before teaching her.

Everything is a game... candy crush? farm ville? angry birds?... Its a game of life which is unnamed.

But worst worst worst part of the game is ,In the process of acting like being close to her.. He is really attracting to her which made him feel like that he is no more playing a game but being a part of her game.Isn't he Mr.ctrl then where the hell is his control...


This morning,When Raman talk to his mom, he just wanted to feel like to go Lucknow leaving all the confusions behind so that he can be in peace.But a part of him being very protective of Ishita and Ruhi , stopped him to stay.

He himself doesn't know why he is feeling about Ishita and Ruhi to this extent.They are almost strangers to him before three days.

Maybe its because she is Shagun's sister he tried to convince himself but he know Its not only the thing. Is it love at first sight? with a mom and her baby? Damn! now he is really thinking cazy.. Isn't it so creepy to even think someone falling for a mom and her baby at first sight.. besides he didn't ever think that he can be attached emotionally to anyone else after Shagun.

Raman returned to home very late.He thought Ishita and Ruhi may have slept already so went to his room directly.He opened his bedroom door only to listen piano sounds. He saw Ruhi is striking piano chords with her tiny fingers,she is playing something which is definitely can't be called as music still it is sounding very melodious.

It is his piano which he used to play since he is four but forgot to play since last four years.. Now its just a decoration item in the corner of his room.

"What are you doing in my room?"Raman shouted which made Ruhi look at him. He isn't Mr.cool anymore.

"I'm sorry.. I'm alone at home naa.. I thought to play with your piano.." she replied in a sorry tone" Mumma called me and said that she will be late..." she said.

Ishita hasn't came yet.. his anger increased by this news.It's 10pm she is new to city... how careless she is.. what if something happens.. A beep sound made him look at his phone. He received a message saying that she was in cab and will reach home soon..

"You and your stupid mom..." he said with anger..double anger now.

"Leave my room... Now.."he shouted. Ruhi is first time looking someone this much of angry...

Now Ruhi is angry too... She had used his piano without his permission but she said sorry to him , Didn't she?

"I hate you RB..." she said before leaving the room and shutting the door behind..using as much force as she can.. so that the sound of door can made him know her anger.


"I hate you too Miss.firecracker.." he mumbled.

After tossing and turning in his bed for some time finally he dozed into sleep.. one of the most disturbed sleep in his life...

They hate each other?????

Love which isn't realized or accepted or ignored may seems like hate.But it isn't really hate it is sheer love in disguise ...
