In my last post few days back I have said that Mani most probably has a thing for Ishita and tonight's loaded dialogue seems to go on this path. The guy is way too much interested, borderline obsessessed with her for it to be innocent. It seems he would have liked Ishita as a life partner. Btw this Mani is boring and insipide. He and Ishita don't seem like best friends at all, they look like old good formal acquaintances who met after a decade with no contacts at all (which is probably the case so why this over excitement from Ishita's side?! She spends all her free time with him and was dressing up to go to a simple coffee date! She has never bothered this much for Raman, the guy she supposedly has feelings for😡😕)
I am still not sold on the scenario of a new third party to push the leads to confession. It's cliche and juvenile. Total disappointment. Realization is not an option either as imo Raman already knows he loves/has feelings for his wife (his moves are too deliberate to say he is not aware of it).
Ishita comparing Mani and Raman in favor of the former is sad. I did not mind when it was said with a sort of lightness, not serious at all but tonight it was her self talk with a sad face too. Btw Ishita should make up her mind - on one side she says she wishes Raman to be sensitive, caring, polite, and with manners (woman are you blind that you had not noticed the true nature of your husband of 7 months?!) and on the other side she says she loves his raavan Kumar avatar, recognizes that he does so much even without loving the person, that he is a good husband and father!
I was fine with Ishita's "I don't want to sympathise with Shagun but I can't help but feel a little bad". As a woman, being disgusted with Ashok's attitude and stance on a 6 years relationship and feeling a little sympathic towards a fellow woman is fine. BUT being overly concerned to the point of sounding and appearing caring was pathetic. Was she almost appreciating Shagun's guts for leaving Raman? It sure did sound like it to me. Did she forget that Shagun was cheating on her husband for months and didn't hesitate to leave a 6 months old infant behind?! That was NOT praise worthy at all...
Hit and miss is so boring. Raman went there to pick up Ishita and make her happy in the process so why the hell did he play hide and seek once he reached there? Ridiculous. There was absolutely no point and justification. He went to do the exact same thing in the Sanjana track so why not now? In the Sanjana track, he was needed there so the fake behen could play her game but here he was not to be introduced to Mani this soon, is that what CVs were aiming at? If so, it's lame...
Raman's taunts were fine and palatable till "I have put this photo only to see Ruhi". After that it went overboard with the dinosaur and editing stuff. Absolutely not needed, it wasn't funny nor was it a cute fight...
At least Ishita this time around thought of sharing the info with Raman. Her job is done. She should not meddle more. But why tell the ex husband and not the brother? Shouldn't Mihir be the more appropriate one to pass this bit of info to his sister? What is the point of hiding it from him?
Btw isn't Mihir suddenly/uncharacteristically too much interested in doing his duty as a brother?
Ashok was pathetic. I have seen people be this pathetic when drunk in real life so the portrayal was fine by me.
Param's character makes sense. His taunts are bang on. The spice he adds on the show is missed. Not only him but other original characters/cast such as Toshi, Romi, Simmi, Mr Bhalla, Bala and Vandu are missed. I prefer and would choose them any day over the insipide/bland sunny bro and new mani guy...
Precap - ye lo another meddlesome one. Seems he is testing the waters.
Mani and Ishita are joined by the hips these days. Very boring.
