@Aeryn 18 pages was a result f me n Nisha's argument about Ishita's flaws

I feel the same that she is being hypocritical when she says I expect Raman to b sensitive in her mind n on his face she says she likes or prefers Ravan Kumar.

If u r so uncomfortable with his insensitivity go ahead n talk to him about it

Same applies to Raman one day he makes her believe that she is the woman whom he can fall in love with n later on tells her on her face ki u look like a dinosaur, dont intrude in my privacy (betn husband wife there is no such thing as privacy) n taunt her.

@nisha thanks for marketing my post 😆 😆

@bold - Oh OK 😆 18 pages! What a debate! I don't know if I have still the energy or even the will to enter one right now 😆

@underlined - I won't say it's hypocritical but it's a lot confusing. Seems sometimes CVs are going all over the place with Ishita's character. I can't relate, appreciate nor understand her anymore.

About his insensitivity and her not talking about it, it is another example of the writing mess imo. See I am from the mind that she doesn't mind his taunts because mostly she knows he doesn't really mean it. Taunts are his way of speaking and isn't done with the intention to hurt but to have a little fun and other times to cover up his feelings. Ishita can reply in kind and had done so on some occasions but it's rare as it is not her nature. She does put a stop to it when she feels he is being too much. Here it was a case of CVs (or Karan?) going overboard with the dialogue in name of nok jhok and comedy. Unfortunately it failed.

@red - Raman is the most consistent one out of the two. The progression in his feelings for her was logical, well crafted, pretty consistent. I have never struggled much to understand where he is coming from. Taunts and being sarcastic are his ways. Not only with Ishita, he is like that with everyone.
Sorry disagree there is privacy too between couples. Let's not forget that a marriage is between two individuals (stress on individuals). Phones are in current era very personal, almost an extension of oneself. I know many people (even married ones) who don't like their partner or anyone playing with their phones. Fact.

@ Nisha - thanks a lot 🤗
Sorry like I have said I don't want to enter into debate for now, please don't mind

Well kinda agree to u that ishita is surely confusing to viewers n her thoughts r not properly portrayed in front f people the way Raman's are.

But when I was talking about privacy, it depends person to person. I agree to ur POV n i have seen marriages where it is completely platonic n husband n wife infact have separate beds too.

But she was looking at screensaver of a locked phone(i hope after Parmeet fiasco atleast Raman is smart enough to lock his phone 😆 ) So she was no way intruding his privacy as he put n he was harsh in calling her Dinosaur n Kachra stuff. I dont know shose idea it was but it was a let down n indoicates that Raman dont treat her as a woman too. Sorry cant take this, i agree he was hurt coz f her choti cheez mangi remark but it doesnt give him a right to insult her outright my opinion. 😳

Yes agree she was not really intruding. Anyway if you have noticed, Raman was not angry nor irked that she looked at his phone. He started his taunts when she put him in a corner with her question regarding his choice of screensaver. Defense mechanism once again which unfortunelaty went overboard and sounded way too much insulting in the end. But here I think it's more of a bad choice of dialogues rather than a dent in characterization.

I have to say, with this 7.30 slot, they have made it look like ishita has been in love or has been falling in love with Raman all this while and that Raman's realization phase is just starting with Mani coming into the picture.

Very nice discussion in this thread!! I totally agree with Megha here. I don't feel Ishita is being mahaan here. She confided in Raman and didn't go alone in solving problems. That's more than enough considering what she did in the past. Ishu would feel insecured when Shagun comes in between herself and Raman. Today she thought as a women and felt bad for Shagun. Considering female leads from other serials she is not in the competition at all. I still find her realistic. And Ishu and Raman have to work on their marriage. I don't feel nobody is more or less here. They do it for each other one day and fight next day. Atleast Ishita has realised some feelings for Raman. Now it's Raman's turn which Mani will make it happen.

I like Mani. Yes I do miss Param.

Like I said

Mnr makes sense

But it is tone of what she was saying that disturbed me

She was being sympathetic towards airhead

She says she understood why she left Raman really

Raman is constantly insulting her

Writers need to stop

BTW what happened to Pervmeet and Simpering Simmy? I have missed 2 weeks of episodes a month back and therefore am at a loss as to where they are. Did they move out? Were their characters written out of the storyline? Are they on holiday? Please catch me up on their whereabouts. Thanks

Noidea

I guess pervert will be back soon

Well I hope it gets better...as for the whole spoiler of Mihika and Ashok...I just don't get it. It would go against the essence of Mihika's character to marry that guy lol...but let's see what happens.

Thanks

Yea that spoiler looks ridiculous

Hope it doesn't happen

In my last post few days back I have said that Mani most probably has a thing for Ishita and tonight's loaded dialogue seems to go on this path. The guy is way too much interested, borderline obsessessed with her for it to be innocent. It seems he would have liked Ishita as a life partner. Btw this Mani is boring and insipide. He and Ishita don't seem like best friends at all, they look like old good formal acquaintances who met after a decade with no contacts at all (which is probably the case so why this over excitement from Ishita's side?! She spends all her free time with him and was dressing up to go to a simple coffee date! She has never bothered this much for Raman, the guy she supposedly has feelings for😡😕)
I am still not sold on the scenario of a new third party to push the leads to confession. It's cliche and juvenile. Total disappointment. Realization is not an option either as imo Raman already knows he loves/has feelings for his wife (his moves are too deliberate to say he is not aware of it).

Ishita comparing Mani and Raman in favor of the former is sad. I did not mind when it was said with a sort of lightness, not serious at all but tonight it was her self talk with a sad face too. Btw Ishita should make up her mind - on one side she says she wishes Raman to be sensitive, caring, polite, and with manners (woman are you blind that you had not noticed the true nature of your husband of 7 months?!) and on the other side she says she loves his raavan Kumar avatar, recognizes that he does so much even without loving the person, that he is a good husband and father!

I was fine with Ishita's "I don't want to sympathise with Shagun but I can't help but feel a little bad". As a woman, being disgusted with Ashok's attitude and stance on a 6 years relationship and feeling a little sympathic towards a fellow woman is fine. BUT being overly concerned to the point of sounding and appearing caring was pathetic. Was she almost appreciating Shagun's guts for leaving Raman? It sure did sound like it to me. Did she forget that Shagun was cheating on her husband for months and didn't hesitate to leave a 6 months old infant behind?! That was NOT praise worthy at all...

Hit and miss is so boring. Raman went there to pick up Ishita and make her happy in the process so why the hell did he play hide and seek once he reached there? Ridiculous. There was absolutely no point and justification. He went to do the exact same thing in the Sanjana track so why not now? In the Sanjana track, he was needed there so the fake behen could play her game but here he was not to be introduced to Mani this soon, is that what CVs were aiming at? If so, it's lame...

Raman's taunts were fine and palatable till "I have put this photo only to see Ruhi". After that it went overboard with the dinosaur and editing stuff. Absolutely not needed, it wasn't funny nor was it a cute fight...

At least Ishita this time around thought of sharing the info with Raman. Her job is done. She should not meddle more. But why tell the ex husband and not the brother? Shouldn't Mihir be the more appropriate one to pass this bit of info to his sister? What is the point of hiding it from him?
Btw isn't Mihir suddenly/uncharacteristically too much interested in doing his duty as a brother?

Ashok was pathetic. I have seen people be this pathetic when drunk in real life so the portrayal was fine by me.

Param's character makes sense. His taunts are bang on. The spice he adds on the show is missed. Not only him but other original characters/cast such as Toshi, Romi, Simmi, Mr Bhalla, Bala and Vandu are missed. I prefer and would choose them any day over the insipide/bland sunny bro and new mani guy...

Precap - ye lo another meddlesome one. Seems he is testing the waters.
Mani and Ishita are joined by the hips these days. Very boring.

Very good post aeryn

Agree with you

Writing is inconsistent

They are making characters swing like yo yo

Raman insulting her is not done and is no longer funny

Ishita comparing him with mani was sad

Ishita sympathising with airhead was insane and pathetic
