What I see in the precap is this - a man is seeing a very different side of things for the first time in his marriage - he is feeling left out on all counts..he is alienated - he who for all intents and purposes was relaxed seeing the decoy was shaken because he now has seen the REAL thing and his first instinct is to complain to god - NOT FUNNY.

Then he sees everyone is going ga ga over this outsider and he feels sidelined and he is angry cos a) - another man knows his wife better than he does, b) she compliments and praises him to the skies and c) he sees the word LOVE in context of another man associated with his wife again and again...

Now he saw his neighbor to drool over him and then she asked Ishu to help her make a match - what really hit the last nail on the coffin was her DENIAL to do so... he saw her objection - what he took away from that was she - his wife who always has been all for connecting people today refused to make a match - of her perfect guy...while in her mind she was thinking of saving a poor girl who might face the sting of rejection all he could see was she was AGAINST a match for her perfect man ...which makes him say the words - is she asking you to find a girl for your husband? but knowing you , you would do that after all - what is our relationship?

Indeed. His problem was all of that. Jealousy on being sidelined, irritated on another man being praised. All the attention he gets given to someone else.

But what hurts him most is that not only does Mani know Ishita well. She knows him well too. A person whose ready to save her husband's ex-wife's heart from breaking is not ready to match make for her friend.

Feeling so out of place today - he wants to demand for the place he has, question if he has one at all.

His words while conversing with himself - You know Mani is a better match for Ishita than you are.. that stood out for me.

Nothing could summarize the episode in better way !

You know when he held her hand during pooja, it was unknowingly marking his mate to me [it seemed like that to me].

She belongs to him and only him, and he doesnt need to shout out to world but for his peace he just needs to hold her hand to let him know that.

and yep that is the core issue Ishita who worries even for Shagun and wishes well for her outright denied the notion of fixing the match here, to him that was HER REJECTING the alliance and not Mani...hence his words why are you interfering and cant he make this choice? You haven't adopted him.. he is a friend and not your husband, not the man YOU can make a CLAIM on - but you don't even claim me - why would you what do we have?

the word WE finally gets a nod from him LOUD AND CLEAR.

@red - I loved that part too in his mind Ishita has always been a good soul and today he sees her so happy because of another man of course he is bound to go there for a moment in his mind owing to his insecurity

Yep the hold was more than physical it was on all levels there is but what I loved more was the way he set her free too -in the end you cant force someone to love you - the one you love set em free, so when he compares himself with Abhi and finds himself falling short on all counts (pun intended 😆) he would even allow her the option to set herself free - the grip was putting up a fight, the setting free was allowing her to make that choice to stay with him because she wants to.. and that and only that can heal Happy 😳

Exactly. He questions her WHY she gets to decide for Mani. She's just a friend. She doesn't take up for him like that. Doesn't claim him as hers, behave rightfully with him. So comes the question, who am I to you anyway.

Yes. He had doubts if she was happy when she spoke about Subbu to him. He had asked if she was happy. Now he sees her like her young self and that the happiness is not given by him, nags him.
