To those who know me... This piece has turned me into a certifiable mental case, please don't stop loving me .😕
To those who don't know me... please dont be offended by anything written in this piece. This was born out of sheer boredom, lack of inspiration to write anything sweet, and a bit of frustration.

Ishita was perplexed with the turn of events at the courthouse. Neither Mihir, not Raman told her anything. She went to her favourite partner in crime, Romi. For some reason, Romi also made a lame excuse and escaped her questions. She had to find out what the matter was, and who Mihir's sister was. She was also wondering, why this sister would have an objection to the Mihir Mihika marriage. Didn't people usually raise objections only if the marriage was being solemnised under duress, or there were things like dowry, or if there was anything illegal goin on? Like under-age marriage or if one of the parties was already married. She furrowed her brows so intensely that her head started aching. She had no one to turn to. Thats when the light in her life, Ruhi gave her the motivation and inspiration to snoop. "Cmon Ishima, you can do it. Papa doesn't call you Jagga jasoos for nothing no?"
Ishita spent all night on the living room couch looking for connections between Mihir and his family. She even called Amma and Mihika to help her out. At first, she thought that maybe she could ask Bala Jiju for help, but then thought against it. Because she was scared Bala jiju may only ask her not to interfere. Well, the Iyer women couldn't be stopped. It was a matter of Mihika's future after all. And if Raman was adamant on hiding everything from her, so be it.
Raman, on the other hand was worried about the truth coming out. He had made an excuse about working late, but all he was doing in the office late at night was discussing the sister-scenario with Mihir and Romi. From his mother's worried phone call, he knew what the Iyer girls were up to. Well, the PUnjabi men could be Karamchands too. So, they scoured through the internet and various social media and the history to make sure there was no reference to Mihir's family any where on the world wide web. If this were a TV show, we'd see 2 halves on the screen. The women on the left typing furiously on to search for Mihir Arora AND sister... the men doing the same on the other side typing furiously too, but only to delete tweets, timeline entries and edit posts to make information seem more vague. It was a race against time.
Breakfast time at the Bhallas: The tension was palpable. Mihika and Amma had come there for Ishita's moral support too. There was a dreary silence, but things were being said any way. There was an old song playing on radio "Khamoshiyan gunguna ne lagi". When it came on, Ishita looked at Raman with anger, Raman stared back with haughtiness all over his face. Toshiji looked at Amma for a few seconds, Amma looked back and tucked the corner of her pallu into her waist and got ready for a war. Mihir asked for the sugar to be passed, Mihika poured salt into his coffee. Simmi, Param and Ananya were on the couch. Simmi and Param shared some eye-lock, weirdly romantic one too, and the song on the radio changed to "Hogi pyaar ki jeet".
Mr. Bhalla and Mr. Iyer returned from their morning walk. They tension almost choked them, and they involuntarily stepped back into the corridor. They looked at each other, and remembered the time they had made the grand plan to unite their families into matrimonial bonds. Their eyelock is difficult to explain, there was a mixture of regret, sadness, disappointment. The song on the radio changed once again, this time it was "Yeh duniya agar mil bhi jaaye to kya hai".
Everyone wondered if the RJ was some fool user from India Forums trying to make a point. But they decided to ignore the music. Who listens to fools anyway?
After some time, the tension had boiled over. Actually, the milk boiled over. And Neelu, in her clumsiness tried to pick up the hot pot from the stove and dropped it. As soon as the vessel dropped, the song changed to "Dhan te nan" from Kaminey. That is all it took. Toshiji and Amma started their flight in a mix of Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil and English. Mihika took a serving spoon and started beating Mihir with it.
Our lead couple (not Raman and Ishita): Param and Simmi, started recording the chaos on their phone to upload it on some desi****** site, but they had to ask Romi for help with video recording.
Raman and Ishita were having a heart-to-heart discussion:
Ishita: Who is Mihir's sister?
Raman: I cannot tell you
Ishita: Why not?
Raman: Cannot tell you that either
Ishita: But I am your wife?
Raman: but aren't we doing that for 'Ruhi ke liye'... did that change. Crap, no one told me.
In all the commotion, only one question was being repeated amongst all the people fighting. "Who is Mihir's sister???"
The song changed to "Gumnaam hai koi" and suddenly they heard a voice with a background sound that I am sure you all can imagine
"Main hoon Mihir ki behen"
Every head turned towards the door. It was Shagun...
Amma: Aiyyo Shagun???
Mihika: Mihir, Shagun is your sister??
Ishita: Raman, Is that why you didnt tell me??
Both Mihir and Raman shouted at the same time "Huh? Shagun ??? WHAT?"
Shagun smiled a vampish smile and moved, Behind her was Mihir's real sister. They didn't recognise her at first, either because her hairstyle had changed or because they hadnt seen her for so long...
Rinki appeared...
Was Rinki adopted by the Bhallas? Or were Mr. Bhalla and FullMoonLight (Poornima Prakash) the biological parents ? Was Rinki someone Fullmoonlight had 'planted' in the Bhalla house as her spy, because she had the hots for Mr Bhalla once upon a time?
Writer to readers: Sorry folks, I was only paid for about 5555 letters in this story. You know na, budget constraints of a 11 PM show and all ? but I know you wont be worried. You guys can continue the story and find an acceptable explanation for the Rinki track. But please write your OSes/SSes/analysis posts before tomorrow if you can? I need material for the next episode.
