I felt the mirror had symbolism..but not what u wrote here.
I thought the mirror meant what Shagun had pretty much lost and where she is in the background today..

I dont like this track...I think this is going in the negative direction. This is when i usually stop watching shows. I really love this show...sad if I have to stop watching this show as well.

I do see such a track happening. But it will be very critical how they play it out. It is highly possible that ishita may choose to sacrifice knowing how much Raman wants to win Adi's love and trust. But them the concept and the message the show is based on which is "The Mother who raise the child is bigger than the mother who give birth" will get lost. So I don't think there will ever be a separation of Ruhi and Ishima.Adi will bring Shagun back to Raman's life for sure and Ishima-Ruhi bond will be held through that track somehow and maybe we will see Ishra being in pain and Shagun being selfishly happy with the material things she wants from Raman . It may end up by Adi's eyes opening finally to his Dad and him realizing where his dad's happiness lie and he bringing Ishra together or it could end up with Raman choosing Ishitha there by losing Adi to Ashok. I think in the end definitely Shagun and Ashok will marry. I am not sure if Adi will end up with Ishra in contrast to the book. Whichever way they play it out Raman cannot have any feelings or relationship with Shagun. I am fine with this track as long as it is Ishra pining for each other till the hurdle of shagun is removed.

I too felt that there would be such a twist in the story...hope Raman stops Ishita from whatever sacrifice she wants to do. Toshi ji stressing that Ishita tum ek din zaroor pachtaayegi really scared me of what is going to come.

Toshiji's forewarning words were foreshadowing of the future. Choices have consequences and was that image of Shagun reflected in the mirror BEHIND her an indication that shadows from a "sleeping" past may be following Ishu into the future?
