tbh Nisha, some of the comments are uncalled for.
Ishita screwed up spectacularly, but let us not forget that she too has gone through countless rejections. she is not a worthless person and therefore deserves happiness, love and acceptance. why should she live a life as a sanyaasi or a jogan? maybe you are just being sarcastic here but why should ishita shun herself from worldly pleasures because she had a momentary lapse in judgement?

"Tomorrow when Raman will lose his temper she will jhaado a bhashan and walk away"
Let's wait for the episode and see whether she does that or not, you are just making assumptions.

"have begun to love Simmi. What she is she is... no cloaks. Every home with an Ishita needs a Simmi"

NO...not at all. Simmi is a bully and no one needs a bully in their home. from the beginning, was rude, bitchy, and irritating and now, she sits at home and taunts ishita every chance she gets.
I don't care how wrong ishita was today but uncivilized bullies like her should not be praised or given a free pass.

I"m not sure how delhi's working girls come into play here but shagun was in a vulnerable position. she was drunk out of her mind and something terrible could have happened, ishita was not wrong to think about her safety. shagun sleeping with ashok while being married to raman is irrelevant here, why would ishita justify something like that? that comparison makes no sense to me.

overall my point is, yes ishita made a mistake but that does not negate all the good things she has done. Like ishradivan said, ishita has given raman countless reasons to be happy and one mistake won't change that. she stood by him during his hard times but above all she has pulled him back from the depths of anger and devastation and gave him reasons to smile again.

Yes the lady has both her Fallopian tubes and hormones mess up it seems. I agree completely with Mrs Bhalla senior for telling her off.

I have begun to love Simmi. What she is she is... no cloaks. Every home with an Ishita needs a Simmi

Disagree. Simmi is a crack pot n every Simmi needs a brother like Raman who is ready to break her mouth every time she says nonsense. Yes she was right to get pissed but we all know she is never genuinely concerned about her brother. She only likes to add chulaa- fuel to fire!!

Raman's frustration was done beautifully. His line "It took me six years to get her out of my life AND OUT OF MY HEART" THERE! He said it! To all those that feel Ishita Bhalla is not getting any hints, here is the biggest one.

KP was amazing... so fabulous

Loved Raman here ( very well portrayed by the actor of course). He had moved on!! I hope tube light Ishu got the message.

Happy I didn't have to be subject to Ishita Bhalla's torturous speech about how "insensitive husbands are" because Raman didn't care for Shagun

Errmmm I guess the annoyance towards Ishu is talking here!!😆

Father-son conversation was damn cute

This was such a pleasant surprise for me too. Henpecked Bhalla senior giving tips to his fighting cock son. 😆

Raman's restlessness was adorable, when he said "I will apologize now but kill her in the morning" was to DIE FOR. KP does that with aplomb

I have lingering hope that Ishita will woo Raman and will apologize, but that wont happen I know. She will caress the name plate when she is alone or give a bhashan unnecessarily at some random conference instead.

High chance!! But she is a pure soul n one miserable look from her, the rough n tough husband will forgive her. 😳

Cons:

Ishita had NO REMORSE. MANY MANY times during the Adi track Raman would cringe in her presence, he has been extremely generous in saying he is sorry and in apologizing. She did not say ONE SORRY to the guy today. Its his EX-wife, if he doesn't care she is left on the street why should Ishita?

She was extremely nonchalant when she asked him to let her and Shagun enter. Like she really didn't care what Raman's opinion was?

AFTER she made Shagun comfortable, there was not one apology or mellowing of body language, no plea in her eyes.

I disagree here. Ishita did come to see him. She is the woman who can read him like an open book n feels his pain. Of course he was way too upset n it would have been futile arguing or reasoning with him when Raman was in this mood. Ishu knows it.

Ishita is annoyingly mahaan at times - I remember how pissed I was with her for forgiving Raman so easily for putting her family in jail but that's Ishita- the lady with an inner goodness ready to forgive n forget easily n we all love her for that, don't we?

Tomorrow when Raman will lose his temper she will jhaado a bhashan and walk away

I dunno about that!! But walking away angrily is more Raman's attitude not Ishu according to me!!

Ishita couldn't find one vacant hotel room in Delhi?

I am non Indian so don't know much about Delhi hotels. But will any hotel accept to have a drenched n drunk lady in?

Anita totally OTT, sorry, but she was...

Agree!! I laughed aloud when I read that Anita was being praised for her drunk act. She made Shagun cute while drunk but She sounded more like she had a gulaab jaamun in her mouth while talking.😆

P.s I skipped some of your arguments which were totally uncalled for according to me. Of course I respect your POV so i agree to disagree.

Woah some points into this post was totally uncalled for. My reaction would be same as Ishita's. I would the take the person first to my house which would be the safest place. Yes it was little extreme to take her to bedroom. But Ishita's actions are always spontaneous. It's not that she doesn't give respect to elders or doesn't understand Raman's pain. She has done so much to family and Raman. Just because of one mistake you can't write off what she has done. If that's the case Raman has hurted Ishu many times but still we forgive him? The main problem with this track is scenes are too rushed. No continuity at all. Having said that this show is by far the best show and I would definitely give chance to my fav show.

I feel Ishita had no business bringing the drunken Shagun into the Bhalla's house without first checking with them whether she could. If she wants to house her somewhere, she should ask the Iyers whether they can take her in for the night at their place. After all, they are her parents and can tolerate her good samaritan activities rather than expecting the Bhallas who absolutely abhor Shagun, and for good reasons. What is worse is she makes that stupid Shagun comfortably sleep in their bed, forcing Raman to uncomfortably sleep in the sofa.

Raman has acted like a royal prick many a times but this time I understand and support him. If I as a viewer cannot stand Ishita's actions, how much more an ex-husband and ex-in-laws feel especially after being wronged in every which way by that characterless woman. I wouldn't be surprised if Shagun uses this against Ishita later.

A friend once told me Marriage is not this time last time first time second time every time there is a mistake by anyone both husband and wife pay for it becos a choice made by one person both become responsible for it. I feel that this show is doing a very good job showing this. Raman is a bitter man, Ishita is an idyllic woman, their meeting in the middle will have struggles. I feel most of us are thinking that the 'bed' is some sort of symbol it is not, for the bed has not become theirs yet, in fact to reach that bed, they have also slept on the floor only to wake up confused, it is a long journey lets enjoy this real journey instead of camera angle kisses and badly OTT picturised SR scenes

WOW Nisha ...

Thats some outpouring ... u really are mighty miffed with this track ...
As an urban independent minded woman .. i too am shocked from a personal standpoint with this move of Ishita's ..while as a woman i would never leave another woman defenceless whatever be her state or status ... but maybe i would also try other formats to help ... But this aint real but reel ... this is after all a serial .. larger than life is shown here with added spice of drama ...

Now just for the sake of discussion ... how is what Ishita did for Shagun any different from what Raman did for Shagun during Rakhi at Ashok's house ... he too defended a defenceless woman .. & so is Ishita ... being drunk does not mean one can be misbehaved with ... it does not take away the security angle ... every woman has a right to security .. not only hard working women but women who are driving luxury cars .. who maybe are out partying .. who maybe are a bit inebriated ...

The only thing unpalatable yesterday was that she made Shagun sleep in her bed .. this after Raman's dialog of 5 bedrooms .. in any math u do .. Shagun could've got another room to sleep in ...

One can understand what Toshi & Raman felt ... but how much of Raman's reaction was a direct reaction to Ishita bringing home Shagun .. & how much was it a reaction of seeing Ishita safely home is a point of debate ... Give it a moment to think what Ishita has done .. or rather what the writers want to show .. it would be nice if the writers actually describe for the viewer the reason for this move of Ishita's ... it will of course be ultimately linked to RAMAN .. & his children ...

Now about checking with the Bhalla's if she could bring Shagun home... if Ishita did not have the right to bring someone to her own house .. then what difference are we expecting from the character called Ishita & say a Gopi bahu .. would she not be a toe the line ghoonghat bahu then ... Ishita is a doctor .. she is a member of this household .. she is the ELDER bahu of this household .. she is the nurturer of this household .. the basic right she has is to bring someone home of her choice ...

.. What would do the character called Ishita justice ??... this show has been written in a format that portrays the goodness of IShita .. & each goodness of that woman is highlighted by the sheer badness of Shagun ... this good deed of Ishita's will be repaid with an extremely bad deed from Shagun .. ( case in point just after Raman defended Shagun she did the whole Ruhi birth episode) 😃

PHEW !!! this is getting very long, anyways it was meant to only spark a discussion ... hence am not talking about the raman angle here ... but give it a few days ... the suffering that Toshi spoke of will happen immediately .. & ultimately the reason for this track .. "the romance" will also happen 😉

PS; totally agree with u on the actress who portrayed Shagun .. she was really not upto the mark .. infact in this whole fiasco the only one who emoted brilliantly was Raman ... he was bang on with his portrayal .. as a worried pati ... as an outraged pati ... as a person whose hurt was pulled out & finally as a frustrated pati ... Ishita was just about average in her performance even though this was her stage to shine ... but the other scene stealer was of course Param .. loved his gloat ..😉

Raman n Ishita n Ruhi share that "bed" as a family, y put a person who has pained other two peole who sleep on that bed?

N even if I dont want to think symbolically, even if Ishita has a platonic relationship with her husband, she must "ask" him before putting that person in his bed coz there is something called Good manners whicch Ishita has been following all along except a few days ago.
