Rhea - very well put. I agree completely.
Ishra have reached such a stage that Ishita not having an inkling of Raman's feelings for her and his opinion about their marriage hence holding herself too much back is not believable anymore.

I too thought of this night in accident track and how they slept hands in hands - from this the lack of continuity in Ishita's reaction is very obvious

well said ruby, aeryn and rhea.

I do agree taunting of raman and not being attracted to her are used to cover his feelings. why only taunting are noticed, has not he appreciated her beauty number of times ? even in taunting he has called her silk smitha and all. what about them ?

she has faced 12 years of rejection so has he faced 6 year of rejection despite having bed with wife and 2 kids and faced adultery by his wife. his wounds are not less than her

I have also mentioned in my post some where, that why we are forgetting raman taunts him but it s in front of her. here she called it chhee post raman has gone. that must be taken her monologue and real feelings not as hiding or covering . has raman felt disgusted once for her in her absence post realization ?

Chee is completely disgusted feelings and she is saying on one is letting her sleep peacefully and indecent people as if he was going to rape her ? did he even touch you ?

Well written analysis dear!
I agree to all of it like the other post but again my problem is only with the progress of consistency of ISHRA relationship.

They shouldnt have shown the blushing, embarrassing scenes or the pati waala ehsaas scene before this chee scene. It surely sends across mixed signals and confuses us as to what is the current status of them.
I mean after so many emotional scenes and also their support for each other, do they still stand at the pavilion or havent they moved at all?

Not just Ishita, even Raman's rude comments at times annoys me endlessly. For example him saying, mujhe paagal kutte ne nahi kaata...tumaari aawaaz chubtha hai etc etc...its really rude and in reality no wife accepts or takes in such talks from her husband. But Ishita doesnt seem to mind it at all. She keeps saying that she understands the real him. etc etc...
Off late, her character, in fact is shown as really far from reality.

If they hadnt shown all those emotional and cute scenes between them, then her shocked behavior and getting disgusted seeing him so close was totally right. Any wife/woman would never accept a husband who keeps taunting and rejecting her at every possible instance. She would only ignore him totally and get him to understand her importance in his life. None would keep going back to him and also helping him at every stage. itna mahaanta toh real life mein koyi nahi karega...

My problem with "CHEE" is that cvs r showing inconsistency in ISHRA Romance. Ishra have progressed a bit n they have shown Ishita feeling shy ,having goosebumps , crying when Raman gave her identity as his wife. Ok if Cvs wanted to show "chee" maybe her initial reaction can be that disgust but they shud have shown nanosecond of blushing too it wud have justified their journey so far. Does she not have attraction for him. Now after "chee" it looks like they r back to square one.

U r right in ur analysis of their journey so far but it takes away d essence from that scene of comfort level between them n how it has changed over period of time.

Raman too has a baggage. He who after the Shagun episode in his life was looking at women as vile, vain creatures that he shouldn't trust but completely avoid... still in Ishra's relationship, he was shown as a man.

Once he got that Ishita is a good woman, his faith reinstated in the womankind, he was shown many times appreciating her beauty, he even admitted openly to checking her out! Desire from him is there.
Feelings of a man being attracted to a beautiful woman are there from him.

It's what I miss from Ishita. I agree that for her, well for any woman, getting into full physical intimacy is a big step. Being nervous and hesitant is understandable. What however I find strange is that for a woman in love she is never shown finding him attractive on a physical level. I mean yes Ishra have been caught in intimate situations and in there was an underlying passion/desire but we never got a scene in which we can see clearly what Ishita's feelings are regarding him, his looks, his body, him as a man. She's not shown feminine in that sense

Dunno if I made sense...

bang on Aeryn, I really felt and in fact few here also expected ishita will be ahead in confession realization. but eventually he went ahead and it was in very convincing way from his side despite he was already having bed with ex and kids and the way his strong hate was shown in starting we din expect him initiating whereas she was still fresh in terms of intimacy.

of course both have acknowledge about their inner beauty as human and as a partner but physical comments too matter when it comes to intimacy

i was hesitate to put that point but really I don't remember single incident of her appreciating him calling on face or calling behind that he is attractive !! she has mocked him calling less height and eventually once defending in front of vandu that he is not short . even raman himself admitted in front of her that you should be proud your husband is still hot and happening( I don't remember clear words thou) she just nodded agree as if her ego was getting hurt to appreciate him or as if she does not care I really could not get meaning of that reaction 😲 just in last shower scene she called khadoos shakl. nothing more about REAL comments about him

I whole heartly agree. much needed post from Ishita's pov... there has been so many condenming and berating her for the chee!
Ishra has been in close proximity before, his assitance with her saree, him gawking at her when she was stiching the hook more recently, the in the shower... all times she was awake and present.
In Ishita's defence, she has just woken up, in different location so her reaction all though some may disagree was the most natural to her.

Great articulation Bhanu👏...i am amazed really with the amount of talent on this forum. And glad for that..esp when the show ain't giving any kicks😊.
While I agree with you conceptually...a character like Ishita who comes with her kind of insecurities and baggage may react this way. But my grouse lies with the inconsistency of it all.
Rewind to march when IshRa were married for less than a month. ..and Ishita thought Raman had written the let's start fresh notes. That one episode of her reactions..for a man she hardly knew..and probably hated...we're pretty darn accurate and well nuanced...she still had confusion...embarrassment. ..anxiousness...fear...but with a hint of anticipation and shyness. That feeling of how the next step in their relationship might be. ..was very well potrayed.

Now..cut to 5 months from then...her husband has almost told her 'the let's start fresh' dialogue when he said we will make our memories. .. yours and mine. He doesn't leave a occasion to put you on a pedestal. ..even though he taunts you. ..but his actions speak km louder than words...and better still she has started reading his reactions and she can sense his awkwardness and the need for more..ie the shower scene and the button scene. And the best part is that she also acknowledges that something different is happening to her when she thinks of him n now.
And then her reaction after seeing her husband next to her?😕...i can still buy the shock when she woke up...and her reaction prompted his defense mechanism. ..all the snide remarks...but Tthen after he left...why did she react with shame? If that was really shame...ashamed of what? Ideally ..yes she should have been embarassed...maybe a Lil confused since she was getting mixed signals...but she is at a stage where deep inside she should be thrilled with the attention. Physical intimacy is only the most logical and natural step now...even for the most damaged individuals.
Only my pov here...😊
