Beautifully written Aani ... you gave us the real shower scene that we all wished for and the feelings that came with it.

Loved the fact that you wrote this from Raman's POV. His recollection of the feelings that he had for his wife & what he felt after knowing the inevitable ... this is no longer a marriage of convenience. Someday she is going to be his, its just meant to be ❤️

BTW ... I absolutely loved the title of this OS 😳

The woman sleeping in front of him is not retribution for his crimes made in some former life...rather she is the answer to each prayer he made.

At the end, I was confused. The woman sleeping before him?!

I realised that I got so involved in the FB scene that I forgot all about the previous scene where he was remembering all this. 👏

It is not the first time he has heard Ishita tell a bedtime story to Ruhi... but it is the first time he has found himself under the spell of her words just like his daughter.

As he looks upon the radiant face of his wife on the other side of the bed, he cannot help but compare how she is transforming him bit by bit just like Belle changed the Beast.

Even i've read the story many times, but surprised that i've never compared it to him. I do that with almost any story I read.

In that moment, he saw a reflection of his own feelings and anxieties mirroring in her eyes and face.

Desire warring with fear even as confusion clouded the mind already hazy and overridden by craving.

he knew he had made the right call when he saw relief mingling with dismay on her face and understood she too stood on the thin precipice of desire along with him.

Loved this line.

Well, I hadn't exactly imagined amma peeping in, I just thought they would see her when she got out. Chalo, Papaji hii the waha. 😆

The white bathrobe, I did feel that it was a different one.

The last lines were wonderful!

beautifully written... i really love your take on shower scene rather than on show seriously if visualize your version i guess it makes more sense and become sensous and at the same time look adorable...
apart with this scene you combine the other ongoing notion of ishra life too which is breathtaking..
beauty n beast ... on a serious note i guess i use forum day n night in 2013 to read stories from fan fiction section where most of the beauty n beast stories posted no one did the justice with the part you did.. m not a big fan of that series but their situation did wonder for ishra here... and ansers of raman unasked question and of course he has brains to understand whole
