I do agree that Ruhi was born at a time when he was going through trouble and wants to forget about it. But isn't Adi also related to that painful past? Is what I fail to understand.

But he does take care of Ruhi? I mean dancing for her, feeding Ishu for her and one of the major steps of his life - Marrying Ishita for Ruhi ke liye?

I honestly have no answers for you. But a question ..

Sorry .. Just taking out my mixed thoughts..

Ignore me 😆

Well yes adi is also part of Shagun progeny but he didn't hate him or avoid him like he did that to Ruhi

True! Like someone mentioned its because he is the first child and maybe because Adi doesn't live with him.. Raman lives in his memories?
I mean he has achieved Ruhi.. And he knows she will be there for him.. It's just case of getting Adi now?

raman does nt appreciate what he has got.he run after those who dont care for them.

when he was with shagun,he used to loveher too much becoz she was less interested in him.he even did nt behave properly with his caring parents becoz of her.he was just like doormate who respect ones who does nt value him.when shagun left him,he had ruhi.bt again instead of caring ruhi he was busy in proving shagun his worth & grieving for his son.
still he has got true life partner like ishita bt instead of paying attention to her ,he was busy in making shagun jealous, then insulting her, competing with moron ashok,
he was so guilty & sad for his son bt nt a bit of shame for his acts towards ruhi all those yrs.
so conclusion is he run after those ppl who treat him like doormate.

I am on the forum today all i am see is so much disappointment in raman and i think its well deserved. cvs truly messed up the episode, what happened to his remorse about hiding things from ishita?
i wanted a good ending to this track,i guess ill be disappointed :(
i remember ruhi asked ishita about what she was like as a baby, i really hope there will be a epi where all three of them talk about ruhi and when she was born.

Well here are my questions to Raman his defenders and writers of show so here it goes

Why doesn't he remember Ruhi birth welli know things were bitter then between him and Shagun but know he loves Ruhi so he can atleast try to remember now

Why does only adi come to his mind as good memory and not Ruhi

Was he trying to emotionally blackmail ishita with adi talk now that he realises she knows adi did the accident

What was the expression he was carrying throughout the episode and no remorse or guilt for accusing ishita of switching photos

Not a defender of Raman Kumar Bhalla since this track unraveled his hypocrisy and distorted version of loving your child, so technically not the right person to respond to your post but couldn't resist!

Your queries regarding the difference in Raman's treatment of his two children is answered by most of the respondents on this thread i.e. Adi came into his life when everything according to him was hunkey dory in his life and plus Ruhi reminded him of Shagun. He left Ruhi at a very young age and the only interaction he had with her was once he moved back to Delhi and his struggle in loving her was portrayed in the first few weeks. Ruhi's unconditional love and then Ishita thawed him and made him come over his myopic view and finally made him fall in love with this adorable child he's been gifted with (and this is the only aspect of his behaviour that though I dont like, I can still understand)

Regarding the precap I'm still hoping that the situation will be different and/or Raman will not be aware that Ishita is also around and overhearing his conversation. And plus the arrogance and selfishness displayed by him, he will not emotionally blackmail Ishita. Remember his dialogue last night that he still has the power to save Shagun and he will ensure that, come what may? So I dont think he's using any emtional tactic to gain Ishita's help. I wish he had done that, we would have been spared of all this torture of last few weeks!!!

Now coming to your last question and the reason I could not resist from responding, I was thoroughly disgusted by the brazenness and shamelessness displayed by Mr Bhalla tonight. Had-dharmi aur besharmi ki bhi haad hoti hai! And his tasteless and rude remark "agar kuch dekha hota tu bakti"???? Excuse me???? What kind of crappy language is that? Especially for someone who you've been deceiving and playing cat and mouse games with all these weeks. And that someone has in return been your biggest support and tried to empathise with you? Last night's angry response to Ishita was blamed on her instigating him to rudeness because she went off the course by bringing in Shagun. And also that anger makes one say things you dont mean or realise. But what about today? Once you cool down??? There was no remorse on his face. As if Param's beating was his redemption and he exempted himself from all his antics of the last few weeks. At least before that episode there was some guilt and remorse in his expression when he was around Ishita but today tu he was back to being an insensitive jerk! Well done CVs for completely alienating this character from your viewers! What a complete assasination of a perfectly normal character with human flaws. You guys are hellbent on proving your male protagonist's inferiority to your female lead's strength of character. Totally disgusted with his behaviour and the low level his character has been reduced to. Now with only one episode to go before his 360 turn, lets see what makes him take this u-turn and how he apologises to Ishita. But then Ishita being the one with far more superior character will not even wait for any apology or explanation and be ready to support him in redeeming his son.

Apologies for the never ending rant!

By taking him to the juvenile detention center, he will emerge as the hero once again but not as a good father.

What hero? He is a loser in life right now.
A father who discriminated b/w his children no matter whatever the reason, is not a hero.
A husband who keeps using his wife for his self interest, is not a hero.
A brother who can agree to send his lil bro to jail and not his own son for the same reason, is not a hero.
A SIL who claims that his inlaws is his own family, but when actually his own blood is involved, he forgets that, he is not a hero.

TBH, I don't want such a hero in my life. I'll rather hold hands of a man who doesn't act double minded and speaks whatever is in his mind right infront of me and others. I don't want a hero who defends me infront of others but mistreats me always as I am noone to him. I don't want a hero in my life who discriminates b/w his close and dear ones. I want a transparent minded person as my life partner, not a perplexed and grey person like Raman.
