Well here are my questions to Raman his defenders and writers of show so here it goes
Why doesn't he remember Ruhi birth welli know things were bitter then between him and Shagun but know he loves Ruhi so he can atleast try to remember now
Why does only adi come to his mind as good memory and not Ruhi
Was he trying to emotionally blackmail ishita with adi talk now that he realises she knows adi did the accident
What was the expression he was carrying throughout the episode and no remorse or guilt for accusing ishita of switching photos
Not a defender of Raman Kumar Bhalla since this track unraveled his hypocrisy and distorted version of loving your child, so technically not the right person to respond to your post but couldn't resist!
Your queries regarding the difference in Raman's treatment of his two children is answered by most of the respondents on this thread i.e. Adi came into his life when everything according to him was hunkey dory in his life and plus Ruhi reminded him of Shagun. He left Ruhi at a very young age and the only interaction he had with her was once he moved back to Delhi and his struggle in loving her was portrayed in the first few weeks. Ruhi's unconditional love and then Ishita thawed him and made him come over his myopic view and finally made him fall in love with this adorable child he's been gifted with (and this is the only aspect of his behaviour that though I dont like, I can still understand)
Regarding the precap I'm still hoping that the situation will be different and/or Raman will not be aware that Ishita is also around and overhearing his conversation. And plus the arrogance and selfishness displayed by him, he will not emotionally blackmail Ishita. Remember his dialogue last night that he still has the power to save Shagun and he will ensure that, come what may? So I dont think he's using any emtional tactic to gain Ishita's help. I wish he had done that, we would have been spared of all this torture of last few weeks!!!
Now coming to your last question and the reason I could not resist from responding, I was thoroughly disgusted by the brazenness and shamelessness displayed by Mr Bhalla tonight. Had-dharmi aur besharmi ki bhi haad hoti hai! And his tasteless and rude remark "agar kuch dekha hota tu bakti"???? Excuse me???? What kind of crappy language is that? Especially for someone who you've been deceiving and playing cat and mouse games with all these weeks. And that someone has in return been your biggest support and tried to empathise with you? Last night's angry response to Ishita was blamed on her instigating him to rudeness because she went off the course by bringing in Shagun. And also that anger makes one say things you dont mean or realise. But what about today? Once you cool down??? There was no remorse on his face. As if Param's beating was his redemption and he exempted himself from all his antics of the last few weeks. At least before that episode there was some guilt and remorse in his expression when he was around Ishita but today tu he was back to being an insensitive jerk! Well done CVs for completely alienating this character from your viewers! What a complete assasination of a perfectly normal character with human flaws. You guys are hellbent on proving your male protagonist's inferiority to your female lead's strength of character. Totally disgusted with his behaviour and the low level his character has been reduced to. Now with only one episode to go before his 360 turn, lets see what makes him take this u-turn and how he apologises to Ishita. But then Ishita being the one with far more superior character will not even wait for any apology or explanation and be ready to support him in redeeming his son.
Apologies for the never ending rant!
