Why did Raman buy into Shagun's opinion about Ishita not being as understanding about the accident? If Raman truly believed Ishu was mature and would understand like he told Shagun over the phone why did her words influence his decision to hide things and lie to Ishu? How ironic that he trusts the word of the very woman who betrayed him, filled Adi's head with lies about his father that Raman is still resented today while he yearns for his son's affection. He chose to lie to the woman who has never given him cause to not trust her!🤔

Raman wanted the case to be dealt with by legal eagle Mr.Bhansal asap before Ishu, Mihir or the Bhallas got wind of the situation, he said so to Pathak. So why did Raman tell Mihir he was just leaving the hotel with Shagun once she was done freshening up? Did Mihir know Shagun and Raman had a rendezvous with some legal minds at a hotel? If he did, why was he questioning what Raman was up to and cutting off his calls?

Raman was caught red-handed carrying Shagun in his arms with a shocked, angry and hurt Ishu standing right outside the hotel. He has to give more than a sketchy story this time around for his lack of trust in her. Raman has to explain why he felt the need to lie and hide things from Ishu after she had clearly told him voluntarily that she wouldn't stand between him and Adi which included seeing Shagun on matters relating to Adi.

Raman also forgot ...lies have a way of coming out in the open when he least expects it. Ironically, Raman taunted Ishu that she shouldn't tell lies if she's not a good liar like him. He was busted today and has to eat some crow with a side order of humble pie in the coming days. Raman better hope Ruhi doesn't notice her Ishima is out of sorts, or he will have to deal with one pint-size protector of Ishu who wouldn't hesitate to call him out for hurting her Ishima.

Now that Ishu has confided in Bala who understood what she stopped herself from saying out loud, Raman has to answer to Bala as well.

I think it was Pathak and not Mihir who called him.

Yeah, Raman I think completely forgot what kind of person he was dealing with- something that will come back to bite him in the butt later - not only by Ishita, but by his parents, Romi, Bala, Iyers, and of course, Ruhi Dadima.
I'm glad Ishita has Bala to confide in. Everyone needs someone clearheaded and thoughtful like Bala in their lives that they can confide things or talk to them about things like spouse issues. Ishita-Bala scenes make my day because he's no longer Ishita's jiju but for real her older brother.

Nice post.

And, I want Ruhi to know how double minded his father is not only about her Ishi ma and witch but also her and Adi.

Do hope Ishita questions Raman as to why there was a need to hide the truth and he blurts out that Shagun did not want her to know. Bas ... then Ishita will have to question his trust issues when it comes to his ex & current wife.

I might not have a shrewd legal mind, thus need to understand something here ... how is hiring big shot lawyers going to help here. Its not like the police have charged Shagun with the crime. No one yet knows who was the culprit. So is Shagun planning to surrender herself (I doubt) & RKB hiring his legal troop to defend her ... Bahhh no logic 😕

Raman is just digging himself into a deeper hole. Frankly I don't want Ruhi involved in this shit even if it is to defend her Ishima. Ishita needs to a take a stand for herself coz in yesterday's epi for the first time Raman did things which were unnecessary. He needs to fess up to Ishita.

Raman and his ex met Pathak at his office and a private chat without her. They went together to the hotel to meet legal whiz Mr. Bhansal. Mihir called Raman during the meeting with Mr. Bhansal and Raman kept cutting off his calls.

Even if Ruhi is not involved in it, she is one smart girl and she'll pick up on the tension and discord. Children in general read the undercurrents in a family environment very well. The difference is in how they express the stress they feel...some shut down and get into bad situations, some kids act out, others perform poorly at school and bully people, etc.

Seen at it from one angle, Shagun had passed out so Raman had no choice but to carry her out of there...of course a firefighter could have done that too. But did they have any around?

Raman trying to say anything to Ishu with Shagun in his arms would have made things worse. Just the way he reacted to Ishu after he saw her there and turned to see Shagun's face, he knew how Ishu must have interpreted it. Better to walk away in that moment than to make an absolute ass of himself trying to explain things. He's going to have plenty of time to do that but will he have the guts to do it...he'll probably walk around gauging Ishu's reaction to him and feeling helpless.

Men in general are terrible at handling emotional crisis, are often lost and need a woman to help them wade through the crisis. Look how easily Raman did what Shagun told him to...keep Ishu in the dark about everything. He was played by a master manipulator. Women on the other hand are emotional beings and walk through the minefield of emotions better.

I'm curious to see what Bala will say to Raman about his lies to Ishu when he was with Shagun. These two co-brothers (spouses of sisters) always address trust issues. When Bala challenged him for breaking the trust he had placed on him to protect and care for Ishu (during Param scandal) Raman made a point of asking Bala (after he nailed Param) if he had earned his badge of trust again. This is one convo. that will be interesting. Bala has clarity in thinking, Raman is always confused.
