Appreciation to YHM cast on Episode 155

nishu... i have to say that YHM is getting interesting day by day with all the sensible plots and the actors that is hardly seen in any daily soap nowadays...
espacially the screen space all the characters are sharing..
when i see any other show there is not much sharing of screen space but our YHM is different...

if its vandu's and bala's maturity or mihika's rowdyness with the sweet romance of mihir and our ishra are at their best in creating the ambience of most loving and bickering couple..they will fight all the time but will not leave each other..thats the usp of our show...
even i found shagun's acting with all her negativities going better in bringing our ishra close...

everything is going so good...
and its getting an addiction to me ...

lemme say more. even i saw mr.bhalla also realizing ishita s love for raman on her face 😆 that his son has got now real better half 😉

Nichhus, Sorry for the delay hun. but wanted to spend some quality time replying to you 😊

One of the more 'wholesome' episodes in YHM. I missed the senior Iyers, but still it was as complete as possible.

I noticed how they showed 3 couples' interactions: 3 couples in completely different stages of their relationships. 3 couples with completely different situations. 3 couples with different priorities.

Couple # 1 Vandu-Bala In the last 2 couple of episodes, I have actually liked their scene better than IshRa (if I completely ignore my bias, that is😃 ) I would like to think that both the other couples reach that kind of comfort level and understanding when they've been married as long as Bala and Vandu have been. Theirs looks like a typical arranged marriage, between 2 middle-class families. Middle-class jobs and middle-class problems. Something a lot of us can relate to, either personally or because we've seen our parents. And sensitivity with which Shruti and Pankaj are portraying it is flawless.

Couple # 2 Mihika-Mihir Their romance has been a bit obvious in the last 2 episodes. I am not sure if they wanted to bring Mihir in the forefront of our IF Suspect list 😆 or if they were genuinely focussed on showing that bond. It was very cute, and the actors were completely believable as lovebirds. They actually had the excitement of a new couple and the desperateness for being together after they have gone through so much. In that nature.

Couple # 3 Ishita-Raman This is one couple, that never wanted to be a couple, and probably don't even realise that they are exhibiting almost every sign of being a couple. They are completely different from Couple # 1 and couple # 2 because their discovery of each other is happening after their families practically 'forced' them into marriage. I am using the term forced very loosely here. The couple came together for fulfilling a responsibility towards a young child. The only reason they were together is because they happened to be the only 2 individuals that child related to the most. The changes in their relationship are so evident. Raman's tone has changed, his taunts have become softer, his looks dont pierce that much any more, and his face tells a different story than before. Ishita on the other hand has accepted that the man she married is not a devil she thought he was. So she is being as caring as possible towards him. Now, the fact that they don't want to accept these changes (neither to themselves, nor to the world) is the best phase of their relationship for me as a viewer😃 Their banter is effusive, humorous. I get reminded of a quote here when watching them (not just this epi but almost all of them)

Now that I am done with praising IshRa's caharacters, I must say, I wouldnt have been able to say all of this if not for the most genuine acting of KP and DT. They know their scales. They have over emoted, under emoted and perfectly emoted in the respective scenes. I have NEVER once felt them to have overdone anything. And that, in my book is good acting. "When you watch character on the screen, you should forget that you are watching actors. You should think that the characters are being played by someone as common as you. and that naturalness is what wins fans' hearts, not glycerine!" This quote was by me BTW 😛

The Bhallas', including Romi are now on the 'right' side. I am also including Mr Bhalla, because he finally spoke up and Toshiji finally saw her jamaai's true colours. Its very interesting the way she reached that conclusion, quite perceptive actually. She decided Param was bad because he chose the one woman who didn't care about her own child, to name his. That is a sign. And I do agree with her! Both the Sr. Bhallas are SOOO good. Even when Toshiji's character requires so much melodrama, Shahnazji does it with a straight face. kudos

Romi - What to say. I always loved his free-spirit character, and even disliked (and still do, you know that Nichhus from your earlier post 😆) Romi. But Aly makes it VERY difficult to ignore Romi. Thats all I will say 😊

I will comment on the other actors when they have enough footage in some episode...

And Nichhus - thanks for making this post 🤗

Yup...This episode and previous some epis also focused on each character equally. And, YHM is always hatke in this. They always gives all character importance. And, our IshRa is the best. No doubt.
