With that thought he got up, kissed his daughter, shifted her to the middle of the bed and moved to the sofa to finish his presentation.
He was almost done with it when
he heard his wife enter the room. She looked amazing in her blue saree with a towel wrapped around her wet hair. He almost gasped at her beauty but composed himself before she noticed. She woke Ruhi up and sent her to brush her teeth. Raman decided to taunt her. Their playful banter was soon becoming the highlight of his days and he couldn't help himself
R: acchi lag rhi ho blue mein..maine toh hamesha kaha tha harr baar green matt pehna karo..karela lagti ho..
I: ho gaye shuru aap subah subah..mujhe bina taunt kiye aapka din nhi nikalta na?
R: arrey..main toh bus fact state karr rha tha..tum lecture do toh theek..main 2 4 shabd kahoon toh dharti phat jaegi kya?
I: aap seedhe seedhe bhi toh compliment dey sakte the na..
R: tum mentally challenged ho kya? Dimaag bech ke aayi ho chor bazaar me? Main blue colour ki baat karr rha hai..it's a beautiful colour you know?
Ishita moves closer to him enough to feel his warmth, looks
up at him through her lashes and whispers
I: seedhe seedhe kahiye na ki main khoobsoorat lag rhi hoon..itna ghoomane ki zaroorat nhi hai baat ko
Raman is overwhelmed and blushes
Yeh jhaansi ki raani aaj badi bold ho rhi hai..pehle kiss ab yeh..
He suddenly realises that he's blushing.

R: tumne kitni cheezo me PhD ki hai yaar..sach sach batana..lecture dene me toh definitely..but time waste karne me bhi?
ishita gives him a confused look..
R: ghoor kya rhi ho..hato..mujhe der ho rhi hai..time dekha hai? 10.30 ki meeting hai meri..I have real work to do you know? logon ke daant aur wallet saaf nahi karta main..
He rushes to the bathroom
before she can say anything else.
I: yeh raavan kumar bhi na..nahi sudhrenge..khadoos..kud kud kumar..
She hurries to the kitchen to get breakfast ready..before he can get a chance to scream some more at her about how she's gotten him late..
Meanwhile Raman showers and moves to their bedroom..he sees ishita busy in the kitchen and knows this is his only chance. He quickly gets hee gifts out and places them near the dressing
table and moves to the kitchen with excitement dancing in his eyes.
Ruhi enters the kitchen too and sits next to him at the table.
Ru: good morning ishimaa..good morning papa..
They both wish her as well
Ru: ishimaa aaj aap bahot pretty lag rhi ho..bilkul woh story ki princess ki tarah jo papa ne mujhe kal raat ko sunayi thi..hai na papa
Raman chokes on his juice, unable to think quick enough to reply.
R: ha..haan ruhi beta.. He stutters
Ishita smirks at him and gets their breakfast.
He finishes it and rushes to reach office.
Ishita gets Ruhi dressed up and ready for her zoo trip with mihir chachu, mihika chitti and shravan. Mihir picks her up and leaves. Now ishita is the only one at home as the rest of the Bhalla's have gone to meet mamaji in Ludhiana.
She gets ready for her clinic and is about to leave when she
notices the gifts..and a note attached to one of them
Meri jhaansi ki raani,
We're going out tonight..mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni hai..ruhi mihika ke saath soyegi aaj raat..maine mihika se baat kar li hai..
These gifts are for you..obviously!
And before you jump to conclusions, I've chosen them..it took me a good 3 hours so you better like them

She opened the gifts to find an elegant black net saree with a silver border..and silver backless blouse with black hints..and diamond earrings..which were thankfully not gaudy at all!
She was suddenly very nervous. She didn't know what had caused her Raavan kumar to become Romantic kumar..the gesture was sweet yes..just very unlike him.
One look at the clock told her to keep those thoughts for the evening if she wanted to be anywhere near time for her first appointment for the day..
She carefully placed the gifts in the cupboard and left for her clinic.
