And Aman I've been wanting to create a rounds based comp FOREVER where there would be multiple chances for someone to win if they weren't happy with their performance in this comp.. But noone wants to go through with that :(

Awww, thanks Monica, you're too sweet!🤗 Well, I'll be 110% honest, will not try to hide my feelings, whether people think I'm egoistic(which I am) or not. 😆 Yes, I was, and still kinda am, disappointed with my ratings. Some of them I thought were quite low(just my opinion) and that I didn't deserve that, especially with the hard work I put in. Not lying or boasting around, but I did practice pretty hard for this. I used to do scales everyday, followed by Raaga Kedar. Then obviously used to try to do justice to this song. Perhaps, I took this thing too seriously and that's why the shock was even more😆 What prompted me to write what I wrote was because of Xobile ji's 3. I was quite shocked at rating and definitely felt I deserved more than that. But what do I know, maybe he knows something I don't, he is also a fellow Rafi fan, and perhaps my butchering offended him even more, plus he is a good singer too, so I'm guessing he understands the nuances of singing. Anyhow, yeah, I am definitely taking the comments seriously, and will try to work on it. Thanks for the people who took the time and patience to give comments, dunno about others, but will definitely help me mature as a 'singer'. 😆 Now I am not trying to get 'pity votes' or whatever with my previous comment and this, I am just being straight up honest. Also, not trying to pull off a JKN and be cocky about my singing. 😆 But yes, I do agree that I am egoistic, and will stay that way😛

Don't be disheartened Deba.. I know how it feels putting effort in something and not receiving positive comments.. anyways, I felt you made a good attempt, and I didn't compare you to the original, I did feel however that emotion was missing.. next time you sing a romantic song, imagine you're singing it to the girl of your dreams :P

I think this first round has been useful as most of us have learnt something from our mistakes.
Frankly I would like to hear everyone again.
Some have posted their old songs rather than new ones, so they may want to try something new too.
Then we can see the improvement.
I hope we get some new entries too as some were unaware.
