Noice! Loved the idea of the powers thingy.

Though BTS is a Korean boyband but I see how that paved the way for Amyra to like Korean/Japanese media.

Also, India mein hockey mein match-fixing hoti hai? I am not nitpicking, genuine sawaal hai🙈

That said, the twist was great.

Also, summary character sketch mein hi hai na, or did you draft up something and forgot to add it?

Haven’t updated the summary, Ckt sketch mein pretty much the whole story so far hai, but I can do the summary too if you guys want.

Segment 6

Suyash and Tilottama placed their orders and waited for Amyra to give hers but she was busy with her train of thoughts.

"My?" Suyash snapped his fingers. "You okay?"

"Huh? Yeah." Amyra shook her head and ordered.

"Did you see the latest Collab teaser of Spy Fam and Street Fighter 6? They made Yor fight Chun-Li!" Tilottama chimed excitedly.

"OMG! That's amazing! Who do you think will win?" Suyash picked up his phone to check the video.

"Yor slays." Amyra said.

"I know right! I have pre booked tickets for the upcoming movie. What was your favourite episode so far?" She asked.

"Episode 8. Although the last bit of 9 was a beautiful addition, 8 was the best." Amyra smiled.

"I felt the animation could've been better." Tilottama countered.

"The vibe, dark and light, was well incorporated. I don't have any complaints, honestly. It was true to the source material, so -"

"Damnnn!!" Suyash let out an excited scream which broke the conversation. "We need Yor Forger in Street Fighter 6! They better incorporate her as a full character! This is gonna be awesome!"

"Exactly!" Tutu agreed.

The conversation continued about the anime but Amyra kept zoning out. The smell of Tutu was really off and she couldn't place her finger on what was exactly wrong. Her phone buzzed. Vikram. She waited for a moment but it wouldn't stop buzzing.

"Hey, sorry to bother you again-"

"It's alright." Amyra walked to a corner and answered.

"Have you decided about the party? You can say no, if you don't want to join, it's alright but please give me an answer." Vikram's voice was calm. Too calm.

"Er.. about that. I -" She looked over at Yash and his Tutu. "I'll join you. But is it okay if we can leave early? I'm not really fond of such parties."

"You don't have to come. You can stay home and enjoy, rest. Anything."

"No, I want to."

"Okay then, I'll pick you up around 8.30. Sounds good?"

"Sure." Amyra put her phone aside. She took a deep breath, cleared her head before joining the duo on table.

Suyash shot a questioning look at her as she sat. She shook her head, dismissing his looks.

"Suyash, Tilottama. It was great meeting you. Another thing has come up so I'd see you guys later."

"Ah, yes! We'll meet soon!" Tilottama gave her a side hug.

"Definitely."

Amyra waved at them both before leaving.

Segment #7

Amyra's smiled politely at yet another scion of a rich businessman. She didn't even register his name because the smell gave her a headache. She could smell the greed off him, but then, every single person in that room had the smell of someone's blood and sweat on them.

She grabbed a champagne flute from a waiter in a swift motion and gulped it down.

"Hey, easy there." The young man said to her and raised his hand to take the flute from her, but she stepped back. Sensing awkwardness, he walked away.

"I am so sorry, Mr. Advani held me up. His insights on the economy are brilliant, albeit a little boring." Vikram said.

"Are you ok?"

Amyra nodded.

"I just wanted to say that you look beautiful." Vikram said and despite her apprehensions about him, she had to agree with him. Her blue evening gown and makeup was on point. Her hair was in a messy updo and even she knew that she looked like a dream, different from her usual long straight hair left on her shoulders and casual dresses.

"You have said that already." She faked a blush.

"I am being honest, that's it." He smiled.

"My mom and dad are here, if you want to meet them."

"Sure." Amyra said and took in a deep breath. "Another headache, coming through" She thought to herself.

"Jhanvi aunty," She beamed as she held the older woman's shoulders.

"Oh darling, you look beautiful!" Jhanvi said, and kissed the air around Amyra's right cheek.

"Not as beautiful as you. You look like a dream."

"Always the smooth talker. You dad chose well by making you the head of his PR firm."

Amyra was taken aback. Yes, it wasn't her own business, but this was the first time someone had pointed that out to her since she had been given the promotion. She had always had had her doubts with her promotion, but she had also worked hard to get it. She knew everyone spoke behind her back, but the honesty garbed as praise surprised her. "Mom!" Vikram warned and Amyra faked a smile.

"Hello, sir." Amyra greeted the patriarch who smiled at her and shook hands with her.

"Vikram, can I speak to you, for a second, Diler uncle has been asking for you." Gautam Sehgal said to his son and whisked him away.

Gautam lead Vikram away from his wife and Amyra, smiling and waving at the other guests.

"Are you sure about her?"

"If you are sure about getting me married..." Vikram scowled.

"Vikram, you know why we need to do this. You, of all people, should understand."

"I thought Moneesha was joking, but I have seen it, she is... Kind of weird." Vikram sighed and stopped walking.

"Dad, I am sure about her, but not about marrying her... Or anyone for that matter."

"I know, Vikram, but it's something we have to do. I am sorry." He patted his son's shoulder.

"Ah! The prodigal, perfect son has returned!" Diler Oberoi roared as he walked to the father-son duo, interrupting them.

"I don't think my dad agrees with the perfect part, uncle."

Vikram said sharply.

Kill me! I know, but I read a fanfic about a show where everyone has powers and I thought this would be fun.

I do, however, think that Suyash is the "normal" one but that's upto you guys.
