It had stopped raining only 2 minutes ago. Krishna was walking home with his daughter. Since he closed his umbrella, he couldn't keep his daughter in control.

"Are you a frog?", asked Krishna looking at his 10 year old daughter.

"Why Papa?", asked Priya hopping around while Krishna was trying to walk with her.

"People try to avoid mud puddles and you look for them to jump in"

"Isn't it fun Papa? People love rain. This is also rainwater na?", asked Priya with a curious face.

Krishna laughed at his daughter's crazy love for water.

The only person who she couldn't understand even a tiny bit on the earth
was herself. If you give her an imaginary situation and ask her what
she would do, she would say she doesn't know. Trust me, she doesn't lie.
It is the truth. She doesn't know what she would do. She has seen
herself being bold when she expects her to stay silent and bear the
torture. She has also seen herself acting like a coward when she should
have fought in the front. She definitely didn't know how she would react
in a particular situation. She couldn't know it from her friends or family. She couldn't learn it from books or internet. How awkward would it feel to not know oneself inside out!

Frankly speaking nive... You spoke my mind.. I can relate myself to it.. This is the exact feeling I have been through many a times in my life... Perfectly described 👏 ⭐️

"CHOTI!!!", she shouted for the seventh time.
"I will talk to you later. This little devil here is going out of control", she quickly ended the call and turned towards the little girl.
"I am your mom's younger sister. You are not supposed to call me by name or my nickname.", she said strictly.
"But that's how everyone calls you", the little girl explained.
"Well, I am not choti to you... Argh... let's leave the topic. What do you want now? Why did you shout?", she said lifting the little girl and made her sit on her lap.
"I want your phone", the little girl took the phone from her hand.
"My phone? What are you going to do with it?", she said and saw the clock showing 10 pm. She was about to remind the little girl that it was time to sleep but the kid had other plans.
"What would I do? I would play games. I don't have a boyfriend like you to talk."
"Boyfriend?"
"Yeah, you were talking to him only na. I know"
"He is not my boyfriend", she said with panic struck voice.
"Why? He is a boy and he is your friend?"
"That doesn't mean he is my boyfriend"
"Then explain me what's meant by 'boyfriend'"
"Nothing. You are only 9 years old. You are not supposed to talk like this.", she said snatching the mobile from her hand.
"Fine. I will go and ask mom", she said as she got down from her lap.
"No! Don't go..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the little girl ran away to her mom.
"Oh No! I am finished. Now sissy is going to fry me with questions about my non-existent boyfriend", she thought when she saw the little girl talking to her mom. After few minutes, she saw her sister marching towards her.
"Didn't I already tell you not to spoil her?", her sister started with an accusing voice. She worried what did the little devil tell her mom.
"What happened?", she asked her sister anxiously.
"She started playing games in my phone too"
She sighed heavily.
"What happened?", her sister asked puzzled.
"Nothing"

As the nurse gave the baby to him, he felt ecstatic to hold his little bundle of joy in arms. "Can a human being be so small?", he thought. She looked at him with her eyes wide open. He wondered whether she was trying to tell something. Her tiny fingers or tinier than tiny fingers as he called it tried to grab something in the air. He would have stood there for hours seeing his little princess kicking and grabbing air if she hadn't started crying. He had give her to his wife half heatedly. A new life was born. He felt new.

Reparation

"I love you", she told me finally. I had been wanting to hear these 3 words for years and she told me those words looking straight into my eyes while I take her hand to my cheeks. I wanted to say, "I love you too" but I can't. "Thank you", I said and a drop of tear rolled her cheeks.

"I am sorry for being a bad mom", she said.

"You know it, right? You know people won't like to hurt a dying person with truth and that's why you're saying this now. I am not going to say that you weren't a bad mother. You can't win so easily. You have to pay for it. Come back alive. Stay with me. That's the reparation you're going to make."

I wait outside the operation theater hoping my god wouldn't punish me for being a bad son few minutes ago by taking away my mother from me.
