Hi all :)

My name is Srutha :) I am pretty well known in the mythological forum, especially Siya Ke Ram :) 😳

This is a soul reincarnation story based on the Mahabharat and the Bhagavatham. I have paired Lord Krishna with one of His eternal consorts, Devi Satyabhama here. I have tried various modern twists with them, and tried to adapt them to Kaliyug. The other couples will slowly trek in.

Please do review :) And feel free to make suggestions, if any :)

Guys, this is a short prologue. Please do review :) If you all think I should have a character sketch, let me know :)

Criticism is always welcome :) As are tomatoes and all types of footwear, but please, no eggs.

PROLOGUE

A little four year old girl and a little five year old boy stood next to each other on the sand.

"You're turning five in a month, Bhu", said the young boy.

"I know, Kanha", said Bhumi, smiling cutely at her best friend. "Do I get a gift?"

"What about my forever friendship?", asked the boy named Kanha, smiling at his best friend.

"Okay", agreed the little girl easily. She held out her hand. He took it, and they shook. That handshake sealed a lifetime of friendship, love and understanding. It also sealed a lifetime of faith and belief. Their relationship redefined many meanings for others surrounding them; such is the beauty of Bhumi and Kanha; Satya and Shyam; Dhaara and Madhava.

Beautiful! What a wonderful prologue Shruta! I have never read a modern reincarnation story with our mytho characters. I'm eager to read more.

The starting was so very sweet! Can't wait to see them at eighteen!
You know I've always fantasized reading a Kaliyug story with Kanha as the one in love. Till now everywhere, he's been the matchmaker, so, waiting...
P.S. will your Krishna be a street flirt or a shy navalkishore? Bolo na!
