Actors have come and actors have gone but the one constant factor about Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki on SaharaOne has been the lead actress Reena Kapoor.
First as Rani, the mother and then Pari, the daughter, Reena has played both roles with aplomb and has been associated with the production house for the last two-and-a-half years now.
"It's overwhelming to be a part of this show and to know that even after 600 episodes, it is one of the most talked about
shows and has high TRPs," says Reena with a smile.
Reena is glad that at a time when most shows were going for time leaps, the makers of the show were able to twist the story in such a way that she did not have to don the whitener.
"They understood that I was not comfortable with playing an old woman and made changes in the story but in the end, everything worked out well," she says.
First Arjun Punjj and later Aamir Ali, both her male co-stars are not in the show anymore. "In the beginning itself, we were told that the story would be about my character and other actors will come and go. Even for Aamir's role, it's not like he created trouble or anything. It was clear from day one that he would go as the story demanded it. I think one tends to get attached to a show, but that should not happen. Because one day, even the show will go off air," she says philosophically.
At the moment, the actress is not looking at being part of any other show. "Maybe in coming few months if I get some time, then I would look out for another role," she says. Would she be interested in doing a reality or talk show?
"Oh I would love to do a reality show. I'm sure it should be a lot of fun," she adds. So is planning a family on her mind then? "Maybe in another two years time," she laughs.
