Don't go, Saumya!--Article

The exit of Aamir Ali aka Saumya from Woh Rehnewali Mehlon Ki certainly caught the attention of many, ever since, he has been facing a deluge of fan mails urging him to stay back on the show.

Although the actor may not be really complaining as he is busy rehearsing for the upcoming Nach Baliye 3 and attending script narrations for other shows. He says, "Strangers have been walking up to me and asking me to remain on the show. I have never imagined that my character is so popular."

Aamir's association with the show can be traced back last year, when the show had dipping TRPs where he was introduced as a negative character. The storyline about Saumya's agnipariksha followed by his reunion with Pari (Reena Kapoor) has recorded the highest TRPs. Producer, Kavita Barjatya had earlier told this newspaper, "Aamir is a brilliant actor and most importantly a very good human being. Both, Reena and he have been lucky for the show."

The storyline so far has been revolving around Pari (Reena Kapoor) and Saumya making attempts to re-unite their extended family. With Aamir's exit from the serial, it is going to be a difficult task for Rajshri Productions to retain the TRPs of the show.
