My point is it isn't really that surprising that there aren't people wearing turbans in Gaguwal.
Punjabi is anybody who's mother tongue is Punjabi.
They don't have to be residents of Punjab.
They could be from Chandigarh too. Or from Delhi. Or even from Bangalore for that matter.

It's not necessary that every other person in Punjab should wear a turban.
Since both the Pawanias and the Bajwas are Punjabis, probably Gaguwal is occupied by Punjabis rather than by Sikhs.
It's not really surprising that there aren't any turban clad people roaming the streets of Gaguwal.

Oh I am sorry. It's 1 here and I am almost asleep!
I meant that probably Gaguwal is occupied by Hindus than by Sikhs.
So we don't get to see people with turbans (Sikhs) in Gaguwal.

I was talking about the Punjabis in Gaguwal; they're all inhabitants anyway. I thought that you genuinely believed Punjabi was a religion. Glad it was just a result of you being tired.

Seriously?
I am an Indian and I have been to Punjab.
Well, that's besides the point.
And I was trying to explain the above point to you.
You said you can't believe that Gaguwal is in Punjab because nobody wears turbans 😆

Seriously. What's wrong with that? I expect to see some turbans at least.

There seems to be a miscommunication...
But never mind.

Oh yeah. I did think that you thought Punjabi was a religion. I'm relieved you don't. I had a primary school teacher who thought Bengali was a religion. 'Put your hand up if you're Muslim. Put your hand up if you're Bengali.' I put my hand up for both and she was shocked. Lol.

Most school teachers here are stupid. Before college, I only had like two decent teachers.

For us, especially children, teachers are Gods.
So even if they said the Sun rises in the West, we would believe them. So we wouldn't know if our teachers were dumb. Honest.
Being a teacher in India is the coolest profession.
We can demand respect just by saying we are one.
Students would respect us because we are teachers.
But that's only in school.
Beyond school everyone thinks they know better than the teacher. Which is probably true.
One needs to be really really good to command respect.
