The essence of the story is to show that it's not necessary that one should be a male heir to run the family / society. A lady can do it just as well. So it IS necessary for Mannu to become Preet.

I agree that at the moment the show has lost a bit of essence, in the sense, the show isn't showing Mannu / Preet doing something productive. She seems to have lost her usual wit. And I DO hope the story shows more of that.

But I don't agree the story has gone off track. It's a continuation of what happened before the leap, and I feel the sooner they get this "misunderstanding" behind them, the better.
These are some challenges of a soap that has been on air for sometime and wants to continue being on air. The CVs HAVE to ALSO show what sells. And romance and misunderstandings sell like hot dogs.

I would certainly love to see Preet being more witty and doing something more productive other than just cry and seek her husband's attention!

And honestly one another that I haven't understood so far, is why did Raj have to marry Preet to take revenge?
Wouldn't it have been a better way of taking revenge if Raj had allowed Preet / Mannu to get married to the girl that Amba wanted her to and then revealed her identity?!
That boy IS really off his head. Seems like there are two people now at the BH who require instant medical help!

I never said I had a problem with Manu's secret coming out. Of course that had to happen. The essence of this show disappeared as soon as Preet forgot about her revenge, and SD made an entry. Yes, romance is good, but a wife craving her husband's attention no matter what he does to her is wrong.

Having said that, I have a feeling that after RajPreet reconcile, Raj will support Preet as she fights for her right to be the Shah of the Pawanias. It's just sad that she can't do this now, on her own, and that getting Raj back is her priority.

I disagree that the story is a continuation of what happened before the leap. It isn't. The show has nothing to do with a girl being heir. Preet doesn't even want to be Shah. This show is now a typical show where the FL wants her husband back.

But she never wanted revenge. Only right after the wedding, she mentioned to Amba about that. But what she actually said was she would take revenge by making Raj fall head over heals in love with her. Then she would have the upper hand and teach the Bhajwas a lesson. So until then wait 😕
And Mannu never wanted revenge from the Bhajwas. She was always for peace and has always wanted peace between the families. And by winning Raj, she's only making a Bhajwa fall for a Pawania. So it's a step closer to her dream. 😆

I used to say exactly what you're saying now but I saw the light. The truth is that Preet will not do anything to the Bajwas. At most, she'll help get rid of Mo but Raj and Harjeet will be forgiven no matter what. She'll never give patidev and papaji what they deserve.
