I converted some flash videos into wmv format the voice. The problem is some videos the scenes and voice are not going in co ordination. I tried uninstalling then installed the software again but the same problem occurs.

Hey..Yhh..I tried to search it up..and I found out that it may be because the AVI file is too large..and you need to have some specific codecs..and I even downloaded some stuff..but it didnt help :S..

I just hope someone posts a tutorial..

I try to open videos in WMM..it starts opening..but then takes a lot of time to import it!..ive waited for hours it still does'nt get in..

what shud i do?

Hi! I'm using Sony Vegas and wanted to know something about adding texts. I know how to add a text, but how do you make one word last longer then the rest of the sentence?

Like, if I want to write a quote and want one of the words to remain on the screen while the rest fades away.. Anyone know?

I would suggest having that word you want to remain on a separate layer. :) if that doesn't come out the way you want, then play around with the layers and timings, it should work.

Conversion does screw the timing up a bit. It happens with me too, unfortunately there is nothing really that you can do about it, but you could try downloading some other converter and see if it works.

for the most part, .avi doesn't really seem to work w/ sony vegas, one solution would be to convert the sections you want..

quick and dirty solution:

[this will work w/ sony vegas..and others..not for basic softwards like WMM]

if you're wanting to use this clip in a vid mix , when you import the clip, drag it to the video line on the story board..then UNGROUP [right click.ungroup] the sections..and move the audio clip around a little before/after the video to match up the words w/ the scenes..
