For your information i sat through 17 seasons of Grey's anatomy silently hating it....the ML in that show was so toxic that Kartik looks sane infront of that asshole so i do have patience

Owen's character had no arc or growth.

Nothing ever happens to his character compared to the shit every other character goes through the show ;

Miscarriage , shooting , flight crash , LVAD wire , insurance scam , domestic abuse , cheating , s*ut shaming , multiple partners , bus running over people , brain tumour , koochie koo with a ghost

Owen has been in the show since season 5 and the only 2 things that has ever happened to him was getting shot and getting injected with anesthesia by accident

Kevin must be a really nice person offscreen , maybe that's why they're still keeping Owen around....Patrick was hated by the creator by the end of season 11 so Derek was killed off in the most awesome way possible
