Veteran members are the users who used to be moderator / Veiwbie/ Coolbies.....they take VM status when they feel that they need to take a break from their moderating duties for a while for reasons of their own. So they get the status of VM and they have a choice of taking up their moderation duties or become a normal member again once they come back to I-F as an active member
