Sari-gift as redemption

If this sari is supposed to be a hint in wich way Akash is going to prove his love, affection and support, was it necessary and appropriate too to buy a sari for Chameli and that too the same day?

why meethi asks chameli to stay in same house...she could have stayed in some outhouse or other arrangement could be made where she can visit rani often...

this rani is also too irritating always asking promises from meethi and akash to take care of chameli.. she is innocent but meethi is acting like rani's servant always agreeing to take care of chameli..

what was the need for idiot akash to bring purple sari for chameli? he went to make meethi happy right...so buy just for meethi you fool!!
