CHAPTER 9 : TRUTH AND LIES :
Part 1 : Hesitations...
"Bhaiyya, will you play hide and seek with us?" asked a cute little Diya to Yuvi, which made come out of his trance with a jerk. "Umm..." he hesitated when a lady came inside and said "Diya beta, they've come today only and they are quite tired. Bhaiyya will play with you tomorrow ok?" Diya looked a bit disappointed and Yuvi was about to say something when the lady said, "There's a little surprise for you" and took out Diya's favourite chocolate. Diya was immediately happy and she said, "Thank you sooo much Tapasya maa", kissed her on the cheek and left happily. Yuvi watched all of this with a smile on his face. Both of them were silent for a while since they were unfamiliar with each other. Yuvi broke the silence by saying "Umm...this place looks really beautiful. You're doing a great work...this place seems more like a home than an orphanage..and you're kids are so adorable!" Tapasya smiled immediately and Yuvi saw that she had a proud smile on her face. He realised that these kids meant the world to her. "This place is indeed my home, and these are my own kids" said Tapasya and Yuvi replied, "Yeah..the way they call you Tapasya maa..." he said with a bittersweet feeling. "Anyways, what about your family?" he asked..and immediately, like a bulb being switched off Tapasya's smile went off her face. He knew that he had said something wrong and said, "Im sorry if I've crossed the limit, I didn't mean to do it. You don't have to answer.." for which Tapasya said in a robotic voice.."I have no family of my own." Yuvi said, "How can you say something like that when you have 15 beautiful kids?" and Tapasya smiled gratefully for that. She changed the topic by saying, " Will you come to have dinner now?." Yuvi said, "Give me a few minutes, il make a call to my dad and il join you." Both of them exchanged a warm smile and Tapasya left the room. "Tapasya maa..." thought Yuvi with a small smile on his face and took his phone out to call his dad.
Part 2 : Impressions...
Vishnu Kashyap had a smile on his face as welcomed his boss. "Chief officer, Vishnu Kashyap reporting sir" he said and held his hand out. "Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore" said the other man and both of them shook hands with a smile. Vishnu led him towards the car and Raghu took a good look at him. He had heard that Vishnu was smart, talented and innovative. He intended to make maximum use of Vishnu's talent. As they were going Vishnu thought of impressing his boss and said " Sir, let me fill you up with the details of our new company. It is built with the motive of.." and Raghu interrupted him by saying " With the motive of getting more international acclaim. It has 8 departments, 4 sub divisions and 6 production units. My job is to supervise everything, appoint the new managing director and inaugurate the new company. I hope im right?" he asked with a wink. Vishnu was speechless for a moment but immediately gathered himself. "Yes sir" he replied meekly. Raghu said, "Let me give you a small piece of advise Mr.Kashyap. A businessman needs to know every single detail surrounding him. Only then he can command respect. Once he's respected, he gets the confidence which helps him to become successful." Vishnu said, "True sir, il defenitely keep that in mind." Vishnu was completely taken over by his boss's attitude and now he knew why Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore was a name that people feared and respected. He decided that it was worth listening to this man and work for him. Raghu said "I went through your mails about the new company and I think you've done a good job." Vishnu was very happy and said "Thank you sir!" for which Raghu smiled and Vishnu smiled as well. Raghu then turned his head towards the window and Vishnu sensed that he was lost in some thoughts. Raghu then said "Mr.kashyap please remember that I dont want anyone interviewing me in the one week that im staying here. Absolutely a big no to interviews because they irritate the hell out of me and I dont have the patience for it." for which Vishnu said, "Ok sir, il make sure that no one disturbs you." And both of them were lost in their own thoughts after that.
Raghu's past came flooding back to him...and Vishnu's thoughts were diverted to his future. Silently they were thinking...and they had no clue what influence both of them would have on each other's lives in the future.
Part 3 : Disappointment...
And the next president of the student body head is..."Riya Prasad" shouted the Principal and Riya's friends started cheering and congratulating her...as Mukta Rathore watched her with a shock on her face. She composed herself immediately and congratulated Riya with a smile on her face. The principal called her aside and said.."Almost everyone voted for you Mukta and frankly speaking you were my personal favourite. You would've done a great job." for which Mukta said, "Its ok sir, maybe Riya had more aptitude" and she left. She went to her classroom and tried not to let the tears come out of her eyes. Mukta Rathore had never faced failure and this was the first time, and she didn't know how to accept it. At the same time her phone beeped and she saw that she got a message from her best friend Shreya. She was shocked when she read the message. "Hey Mukku...that Yuvraj was the reason you lost...when everyone decided that you would be the next president he sent this message to his friends.".and Mukta read that message..."personally I feel she is not capable enough.." bla bla bla...and Mukta was filled with so much anger. She knew that he did it on purpose because she misunderstood him and took him to the principal's office. Angrily wiping the tears on her face she decided.."Lets see who wins this battle..Mr. Yuvraj Singh Bundela or Me, Mukta Rathore" and she left her classroom to meet the authorities...

How will the relationship between Tappu and Yuvi blossom? Vishnu and Raghu on the other side are bonding well. What will happen that will influence their lives?
