I remember an incident from my childhood. We are 2 sisters and a kid brother. We were having a function in our home the day my brother turned 10 days (namkaran). Just before the ceremony started my elder sister (who was 10 years at that time) fell from the terrace and got unconscious. My father rushed to hospital with her. My mother refused to touch my newborn brother saying that he has come to take sacrifice of her daughter and she does not want him. She refused to touch him till my sister gained consciousness even when my father called from hospital to say that my sister was out of danger. My fathers sister and her husband sat in the puja during the ceremony because of this. When my sister got conscious in the evening, only then my mother picked up my brother. Everyone understood how she felt. Noone blamed her for her behaviour with her son. That too in a country where sons are usually valued far more than daughters. I applaud my mother for considering daghters and son equally always. 👏

Ichha's siuation was similar. She had to sacrifice one son to get another. She refused to do so. It was a matter of luck that Veer was able to save Kanha too. And when Ichha had seen Yuvi she wanted to make sure Kanha was fine before picking up Yuvi. I think that is normal and any mother would/should do that. If Bundelas think that is wrong they are mad and very selfish.😡

And who does Veer think think he is to ask Ichha to trust him with Kanha's life? Is he superman? 😉 When Ichha was being raped she called him, and what did he do? Came in front of a car and himself went to hospital. I'm not saying that that accident was his fault. Only that circumstances are unpredictable. And Ichha did not want to risk Kanha's life by sending him to Avinash even if Veer was there to save him.

I read somewhere that Ichha is going to be pregnant again soon. I think Bundelas will keep being angry with her till then. Then they will be like "we forgive you" as if they are doing some charity. Actually she is just a doormat for them and I dislike Ichha for putting up with them. If I was in her place, I would have left Bundela house with Kanha and Mukta.

although i dont see the logic in the incident that you mentioned i respect your moms feelings...however picking one child over another is not the best option...i mean if she cared for your little bro it wouldnt mean that she hates or does not care for her daughter...but making one child suffer for another is also not right...this is the same way of some fathers hating their newborn child if their wife died during labor and neglect the child...that is not fair...it is not the child's fault...
