Uttaran gets very upsetting!!

In spite of being averse to big bindi, long lashes, saas-bahu soaps...still got addicted to Uttaran due to its very "realistic" storyline....struggle of a poor girl to chase her dreams and overcome all woldly odds......iccha had some substance in the past...met veer the man of her dreams ...he too matches her humane skills.... 😊

I admit that i too was not a fan of these constant saas bahu sagas until uttaran came along and the story struck me as being something unique. Two girls from such backgrounds who were still friends and it had its own twists and turns but always heartening to see them work out. Even the night we found out that Jogi had killed ichcha's father, I didn't feel as frustrated as I knew his character was a strong ne who would do anything to rectify his mistake. When the leap happened and we were unsure of whether Ichcha would finally be able to marry the man of her dreams I was elated when it was finally made possible. The story uptil here was plausible, and made logical sense to me. Then came the fateful night when all logic went for a toss and a series of unrealistic trash started invading this show, things which could never happen, storylines with nothing new, same old schemes, same old motives, same dialogues (when there are dialogues), overpowering background music and just simply going round in circles. What is new, Tapasya tries to ruin Ichcha's life and all other characters are clueless or quiet. This serial has become really depressing to watch and is infused with large doses of negativity all the tme and me being one who loves a happy turn, same as the next person find this show disheartening to watch. They created a lot of magic in their earlier episodes and am waiting for it to come back soon. Waiting for truth and love to prevail in this serial as it had once before. Till then I only update myself occassionally through this forum.
