The episode begins with Damini entering into the kitchen to see milk boiling on the gas, about to spill out of the pot, she gasps, rushes to turn off the gas, but it is too late. Damini is agitated about this 'apshagun' when Nani hears her and tells her that for the rich, spilled milk is a sign of wealth and prosperity, she taunts Damini that how would she know about the rituals of the Thakrus even though she has now ties with the Thakurs, her aukat would still be of a servant .Damini replies 'shagun-apshagun' matter to those who have been through tough times. She then leaves from there and Nani utters her famous 'Ram Hi Raakhe' dialogue.
Vansh is on the Phone with Ichcha; just as Veer walks in. Vansh tells Ichcha that he will hide her in her heart so that no can even look at her, Veer sadly recalls his good times with Ichcha (how she had told him that she loves him and then had got worried if every thing would be fine '.how Veer had assured her about the same, telling Ichcha that meeting her was his destiny), when Vansh turns around to see Veer standing there and asks him to speak with Ichcha. While Veer looks on hesitantly, Ichcha is shown to be nervous, Vansh hands over the phone to Veer .Not knowing it is him,and thinking him to be Vansh Ichcha requests him that she would talk later to Veer as she has a lots of work to do , Veer tells Vansh that perhaps the line got disconnected. When Vansh suggests he redial Veer gets away by making excuses too.
Damini enters Ichcha's room, finding her on the phone she is anxious and tells her daughter to get ready as there is hardly any time left, asks her to take the blessings of God, telling her the last time also she had told her to do so, Ichcha tells her ammu to forget the past, think of the present, and that her Ichki is very happy, and that this time nothing will go wrong. Ammu has tears in her eyes,the mother and daughter hug.
Tapasya is performing a wedding ritual with Vansh; she asks for her gift, he replies that he has already given her Veer, what else she wants' Taps looks on shyly. Vansh then gifts her a small gold bracelet. (Kada), he explains that as kids, Mai had got the 2 brothers alike bracelets. When Vansh had lost his, Veer had given him his bracelet. Since that day Vansh had preserved it carefully.Vansh then teases Tapasya that it is meant to be worn by his lulla's lulla. Tapasya looks on coyly, and thanks Vansh telling him that this is the best gift she ever got, and that she will preserve this valuable gift. She proceeds to take the blessings of Mai, who asks Tapasya to take care of Vansh during the wedding ceremony.
Veer asks Mai why is she giving her this responsibility, Others look on surprised, he then tells Mai that after all she is coming to the wedding too, she replies in the negative saying that a mother's presence during hr son's wedding is considered to be an ill omen and that she does not want anything to go wrong.Vansh tells her that all these stereotypes and beliefs are outdated and there is a light moment as Mai reveals that he himself has kept a fast on this day, and is trying to teach his Mai all the rituals.
Kaka is tying the turban on Vansh's head when Veer walks in with a red stole and puts it on Vansh. Mai comes in and praises Vansh, asks Veer to get ready.
Ammu is helping Ichcha to get ready (She looks very pretty in the red and green wedding ensemble.) Ammu has tears in her eyes, Ichcha is emotional too and they hug.
Amidst dancers performing to folk music, Mai does the aarti of Vansh, Chanda comments that Kanhaji must be very happy today and that she will pray to Kanhaji till they return, Taps whispers to her it is because she has nothing else to do, Chanda retorts that at least she has her Kanhaji and that Tapsya should worry about herself. The camera zooms in on an angry Tapasya, and the episode ends.
