From day one Saravi had already made it clear that he was a short cameo.
But recently extended due to soaring in the ratings as a spare wheel .
Writers didn't know how to write him well.
He was not brought in to separate fatejo but to unite them indirectly. To make fateh realise his feelings for tejo after a prolonged obsession for jasmin. Somewhat a jealousy track. But even that the writers couldn't write efficiently. They glorified fake engagement and fake marriage.
Jasfa fake marriage not required. Fateh exposes jasmin after jass told him the truth . Sent her to the prison. Give a break from isha a while and focus on the tejo fateh angad triangle. Tejang playing ringa ringa roses in the name of friendship and fateh burning in jealousy.
The triangle was not utilised well at that time. They focused on lead's sacrificing happiness for each other which didn't go well with some viewers.
Angad was sidelined after Moga. Infact he had very few scenes. They focused on the fatejo jasmin triangle and family drama. Back to square one coz they felt kvg not helping in ratings but it soared even more.
It's a clear evident that kvg track was the reason the ratings were stagnant.
He was actually not required in the show. Just carry on with fatejo jasmin angle but there was a demand for a new guy for tejo. Other itvs also following the same concept. They decided to give it a try but dubeyji has forgotten that he has a bunch of lousy writers .
Anuj and Aryan in anupama and imlie are doing well. They are given a good content. Unlike KVG who was just kept as a spare wheel so the leads can still play merry go round.
Priyankit reels were still promoted to keep fatejo alive.
Saravi didn't intend to keep Angad in the show for long. They still planned for fatejo. But some got attached to his character and started shipping tejang instead. People get attached to fiction characters . Just can't blame them.
I like angad coz he brought freshness to the show. KVG is far better an actor than any of the other cast of the show including Ankit with his number of years of experience.
Unfortunately writers didn't utilise his skills neither in positivity nor negativity.
The fact is Angad didn't take away the ratings but the Idiocracy of the writers and makers did.
The other error was the casting.
Kvg is much older than Priyanka. They should have casted a younger actor instead. So many choices out there. Namit khanna, vikram Chauhan , Simba, Zain imam ,etc.
They clearly wanted to remain fatejo . That could be the reason they got an older actor so people will still ship fatejo. That's the only logic reason.
Otherwise why would they want to cast an older actor who is less charming and hotter than Ankit.
They played with the feelings of the fandoms and now they face the soaring in the ratings.
If there are trp aunties who likes fatejo , there are others who likes Angad. Everyone think differently. Some aunties wanted her to move on. After the EMA, not everyone is in favor of fatejo. They may be in minority but their votes counts.
Writing and sharing about a fiction character doesn't make people delulu .
Delulu are those who makes a mockery of others with illogical reasons and that too in a thread where u are supposed to be discussing only on episodes.
