But if we look at the karmic side, it's also our karma. Why some go through happiness and sadness is all karmic routes. As they say could be past one.
What we don't settle in previous birth comes forward to the next
That's why have fear in the Lord.
And when anyone goes through a painful journey, we always pray to the lord to forgive their past deeds and bless the person.
And it's not only past birth but what we do earlier , we pay for it later . I have seen my relatives sowing their seeds.
An example of a woman i know of which i would give u
Now , she is in old folks home. All alone and miserable.
When she was young she did the same to her MIL.
Took away the only son from the mother. Treated her badly. That woman died all alone in grief. Now her own DIL did it to her.
Why some are happy with their kids wherelse others are not.
Reason
How they treated their parents when they were young , they face the same later
My FIL always says,

I pray for that woman to be blessed and all her past sins forgiven.
My women's day celebration was with my kid all alone at home as her father was busy. We ordered cake online. She thinks it her happy birthday.. so blew candles and had that for dinner. I celebrated with a five yrs plus woman to be . 😁😁

I agree with Karma part. Ours is a joint family, my paternal uncle and aunt never bothered about my grandparents when they needed them most. My father and mother took care of my grandparents until their last breath. They had to handle tantrums of both old ppl and infants at the same time.😆 i don't know how they managed.
Now that I observe the couple are alone with so much money but none are with them to spend and they miss their children no matter how much they try to hide it. All my cousins shifted abroad, two of them are settled in US and one in Dubai. They got their justice but sometimes I feel sorry so invite them during festivals or birthdays.

Tbh oldies have more tantrums than kids but they are parents. We can never repay them for bringing us up into the world. The sleepless nites they sacrrificed. So just bear and do ur karma. They will bear theirs.

My grandma was such . More towards her own daughters
After she passed away, she used to come into my mother's dreams and apologizes. My dad used to joke.
Maybe getting punishment from grandpa up there who died a decade before her. Who witnessed everything from the heaven.
My MIL also same. Now stuck in Pune coz of covid lockdown . Malaysia airport closed. Daughter staying nearby can't take care.
Always my daughter, my daughter now u face ur karma
Older DIL cannot get along with her. That one is mental case and greedy. Older son told my husband if mother stays with me , half property in writing should be given.
FIL passed away two years back. Jan 2020 at brothers place in Delhi visiting great granddaughter. Brother's older son's kid.
They shifted to Pune coz nearer to daughter and older son and DIL always giving problems. They live in same neighborhood.
FIL doesn't like to live in Malaysia. Feels home sick. Misses social life back home. Always come for one mth visa but after a week runs away feeling bored. They don't know anyone here
my husband sponsored his parents through out the yrs. I don't interfere. We do our part. They appreciate or not that's their problem.
On FIL funeral day , fight happened for property. MIL stated want to sell pune hse and rebuy in Delhi under my husband name since he was taking care of them for many years. She has stated that a few times. My husband already told her don't repeat coz property talks will create problem.
SIL got angry. Started shouting. Why u keep saying the same thing. Luckily i was not there
My kid was three plus and it was winter. I didn't join my husband to India. She will get ill. So he went alone for the funeral.
27 jan 2020, rcvd call in the morning from brother, then evening he took a flight to delhi
Cremation the next day
He told me on the phone lucky u didn't come. Very bad arguement. SIL left to pune that night itself with her husband and children. She never stayed till her father's prayers completed. How sad that was
MIL put up in brother's place. Feel pity for my FIL. They didn't let him go peacefully. Then my husband brought ber to Malaysia. In march she returned to pune to settle the things and hse. Now got stuck coz of covid. Appeal Malaysian immigration for the bubble flight. They say fifty thousand Malaysians stranded outside . First preference citizen only then foreigner. She will live with us on senior citizen visa .
Border opens then he will bring her
A good lesson for her. Laser mouth , cannot keep quiet. Why talk about property when u know how ur son and SIL is. My FIL would have cursed her fot not letting him go peacefully.
I told my husband, she did it on purpose. She doesn't want to stay with them. She purposely created the argument.
she is shrewd .
But two yrs learnt a good lesson. Now taunts the daughter as well. Useless and good for nothing. Earlier my daughter, my daughter
My husband told her off. U sew ur karma'.
I usually ignore her tantrums. Put in one ear and take it out the other side
Nowadays sweet on the phone. Coz she knows no one gonna take care of her except me 😁😁

Drama around death and property distribution is just crazy in all sorts of levels and intersting too.. because every house has this bad son/daughter to do all crazy things and righteous son/daughter to sort these things.
Your MIL learned things hard way, glad that she is grateful. I don't understand the fuss about property issue with your SIL now..

My paternal grandparents were together for nearly 50 years, grandma died on their anniversary I was ten years old when that happened but I remember everything exactly. By then property was not distributed by my grandpa he was still in shock as he was never away from her even for a day. So after 12-13th day gold was distributed among woman, all thick and 22k was given to wife of my paternal uncle and thinner and delicate jewellery was given to my paternal aunt and all that remained with so much wear and tear was given to my mother i.e set of four bangles which my grandma used daily, one pair of studs, one necklace and two strand long chain.
Funny thing is my mom who is very sentimental still kept those jewellery with her as they were ancestral and rest of them just sold their antique 22k Jewellery and bought new unique pieces which they later found out that those are 17k gold🤣 karmic justice. My grandma treated my mom like her own daughter, my mom lost her dad when she was very young so grandpa was like a father to her not father-in-law. Their bond was fevicol strong.
My uncle is such a greedy fellow i tell you, he will put all TV and movie vamps and villains to shame in his planning and plotting, my grandpa was a public servant too and half of the petty complaints were filed by his own son for money😵. He used to blackmail my grandpa that his family was dysfunctional which was not at all the case and said things like after my grandpa's death there is none to take care of him. Poor my grandpa bought the lie because he was already in guilt that he raised his son very badly and gave half of his property to him to secure my uncle's life and rest to my aunt and dad.🤔
I sometimes wonder how he survived his entire years of govt service being this innocent but he was a man with golden heart a lot of Lower Divisional clerks under him are my reporting authority, i feel so proud whenever they talk about him and gave examples of his work. May be his good karma backed him up during the death threats and dhamkis of goons and bad politicians he received in his service.
Real life has so much drama than anything else, kahani ghar ghar ki.. I guess😆 karm karo phal ka chinta math Karo.. philosophy in epic is always epic.
