When I say confusion, I meant his pendulum like behavior and his inability to pick one woman. He hugs tejo and says things like “I’d never be upset with you.. don’t ever think like that”. He doesn’t want to come clean to any of them but wants both of them at the same time.

I abhor Fateh and I do not want FaTejo at all.

Also, I want JasFa EMA to get revealed in front of whole family.

I'm damn sure, T will ask for divorce, but I'm not sure if makers plan to show Tejo as Mauli of Silsila OR Tejo as Anupama of SP show where all 3 of them.. ie Anupama, Vanraj and his present wife Kavya live with Vanraj's family..

In my opinion, every single date planned by fateh and jasmine goes south. It either drives a wedge between them or just makes fateh uncomfortable in some manner (and this could be monumental in redeeming him).

Simran track is getting interesting so they are differently setting up the reunion, maybe a few more episodes before Tejo sees Simran and finds out she is in India, not abroad.

Absolutely! But imo, the makers have deliberately added things or moments where fateh just seems to be incapable of decision or is shown as being “manipulated” for the sake of future redemption.

For instance, initially he kept saying that it was wrong but jasmine’s insistence rubbed off on him and he started mouthing her words.

The juggling dialogue was icky and made things worse for sure but then they’d throw in a scene where he would draw a line somewhere to make it seem like he hasn’t crossed the line COMPLETELY...

Simran is probably going to be monumental because tejo would accomplish what none of them could and that would be a smack in the face moment for fateh as nothing could get better than her.

Cheating is a choice and Fateh has time and again chosen to cheat Tejo, so Fateh is no saint with conscience. If he had good conscience he won't have cheated, it is as simple as it is. He is guilty probably cause he is a decent human being compared to Jasmeen and that is no benchmark to follow 😆 He wants Jasmeen anyhow so Fateh is ignoring all the red flags.

IMO Fateh is more at fault than Jasmeen. I probably (I doubt I can 😆) can forgive Jasmeen but not people like Fateh. He is the one who is married. He is in a committed relationship not Jasmeen. Inspite of knowing what he is doing or what Jasmeen is doing is morally and legally wrong still he is going ahead with it.

Fateh is worse case of adultery. He wants his cake and eat it too. He deserves nothing but miserable life.

Oh none of his actions are defensible and he isn’t a child. I’m just interested to see how far they’d push him because they have ensured that a scene always balances him, like the dates are a failure or he is shown to be awed by her kindness and he regrets things with jasmine.

I haven’t watched either of the shows but know the main gist of them and male leads of those shows were shown as absolute douchebags, but I think in ud, fateh is portrayed in a way that they’ve left room for redemption because let’s get honest, ankit is the main guy here and there’s no way he’s going anywhere.

His confusion, tejo’s kindness, simran’s buildup.. all of this looks like a buildup of, “tejo is the best thing in the world”.

Jas is someone who hates the idea of sharing and has made it absolutely clear that she won’t even share his thoughts with anyone. I’ve a hunch that her obsession with him would fade away a tiny bit when the truth would be revealed.

Fateh isn’t a saint by a long shot and there’s no denying to anything that you’ve mentioned.

I just watched the past 4 episodes in one go, so I think his characterization is deliberate. They don’t want to make him irredeemable. The dates failing in some way and when he reaches home, tejo is trying to mend his family.

I know people usually tend to compare fateh with other leads but here the whole “ishq” thing of his was always shown as something too intense.

Is he cheating on tejo? Hell yes. But then the makers make sure to add little moments where you can clearly see that he would break off the whole thing and realize that jasmine isn’t the best for him.

Opposite will happen . She will be more obsessed to get him.

I am pretty much sure Fateh won't leave Tejo so easily so she will use Amrik like Gippy.
