Fatejo drabble

Just a take on how I wish tomorrow goes, no consummation *shudder shudder*

Fateh drags Tejo into the room, closes the door and hugs her tightly. She could feel him shaking silently and that’s when she realized he was actually crying. Holding her just like that, he blurted out, “I hate it. I hate being so weak. Everytime I see her I feel like I’m getting weaker. And that text, she told me she would convince everyone and I blocked her again. But it’s affecting me. It’s like a quicksand that’s pulling me in. I don’t know what to do.” Tejo was flabbergasted.

“Had she really thought Fateh had moved on so fast? Has she really been so blind? So blind to see what was really happening with Fateh and for that matter, Jasmine?” She got him a glass of water and comforted him and told him that getting out it, would be in waves, sometimes easier and sometimes harder. And then she asked what text was he talking about? And then when he showed the text she asked him, plainly, “Fateh, you have to make a choice, just tell me what you really want? If it’s Jasmine, I would rather not get in between all this and spoil mine and your life” Meanwhile, she thought, Is this really what Jasmine wanted? Were the rest of thing just a game and that’s when she got it. Her little innocent sister had grown up to be a manipulative vindictive person that she had closed her eyes to.

Meanwhile, Fateh answered, “No, I don’t want her i. My life anymore nor do I ever want to hurt my family and that includes you now. It just, feels difficult to get out of this. Just be with me, stay with me like this.”

And she decided to do just that, she decided to still keep helping her best friend but also not expect too kuch from him. He wasn’t in the state of mind to make any promises to her or be a husband. He could only be a friend and a friend in love with another woman wasn’t one whom you could depend on. At the moment, she realized she was just a pillar to him and till things got better she would rather not give water to any of the hopeful seeds that had somewhere started blooming without her knowledge.

👏 this was amazing, you wrote a wonderful piece and its so logical as well, being friends, Fateh should come out clean in front of Tejo and she also needs to be transparent with him about Chameli, then only we can expect a positive outcome. But as far as ITV is concerned, they lack logic and common sense, so don't expect this from them.
